GoHighLevel Pricing: Plans, Usage Fees and Your Real Monthly Bill
Quick answer
GoHighLevel pricing has four parts: the plan you pay HighLevel ($97, $297 or $497 a month), usage you pay per unit (texts, calls, email, numbers, AI), pass-through carrier and A2P fees, and the people who build and run it. This hub documents each part from HighLevel's own pages, shows how to estimate a monthly bill, and routes you to the right detailed page.
Key takeaways
- HighLevel's three self-serve plans are Starter $97, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497 a month ($970, $2,970 and $4,970 billed annually), with a 14-day trial, per its pricing page checked October 13, 2026. Plan prices did not change in 2026.
- Usage is billed on top, per unit, from a prepaid wallet: $0.00747 per US SMS segment plus a $0.0035 to $0.0050 outbound carrier fee, $0.0166 per outbound voice minute, $0.675 per 1,000 emails, $1.15 per local number.
- AI is separate: pay-per-use tokens, AI Employee Growth at $50 or Unlimited at $97 per enabled location.
- Registration and carrier costs for US texting (A2P 10DLC) are separate again: $22.50 or $64 one time plus a monthly campaign fee of $1.50 to $10.
- A solo shop on Starter lands near $117 a month on our worked example, a one-location clinic near $460 and an 8-client agency near $1,000. The plan fee is 83, 65 and 50 percent of those totals.
What does GoHighLevel pricing include?
GoHighLevel pricing is four separate costs: the plan you pay HighLevel, the per-use charges you pay HighLevel as you send and call, the pass-through fees tied to US carriers and texting registration, and what you pay people to build or run it. The plan is a flat $97, $297 or $497 a month. Everything else scales with what you do. Most of the confusion in searches like “gohighlevel pricing”, “highlevel pricing” and “go high level pricing” comes from treating the first number as the whole bill.
This hub documents each layer from HighLevel’s own pricing and help pages (checked October 13, 2026), shows how to estimate a month, and sends you to the page that goes deep on each part.
How a GoHighLevel bill is built
1. Plan (card, monthly or annual): $97, $297 or $497. 2. Wallet usage (prepaid, auto-recharged): SMS, MMS, voice, numbers, email, AI, workflow premium actions. 3. Pass-throughs: carrier fees per segment, A2P brand and campaign fees. 4. Add-ons billed to the card: WhatsApp subscription, AI Employee per location, HIPAA, white-label app, Premium Support. 5. People: your builder or agency, outside HighLevel's bill.

You pay one of three self-serve plans, plus Enterprise on custom terms. Figures are from HighLevel’s pricing page, checked October 13, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Annual | Sub-accounts | Rebilling usage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | 3 | None listed |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Unlimited | Phone and email at cost, no markup |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Unlimited | Phone and email with markup, SaaS mode |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Not listed | Not listed |
Annual billing saves two months on each tier ($194, $594 and $994). All plans have a 14-day trial; billing starts automatically at the end unless you cancel, and usage-based fees can apply during the trial. Start with the plans breakdown for what each tier unlocks, the free trial answer for trial terms, and how many sub-accounts Starter gives you. Agencies weighing the $497 tier should read SaaS mode setup.
What do I pay per use, on top of the plan?
You pay per unit for every text, call, email, number and AI action, drawn from a prepaid wallet. The rates in the table come from HighLevel’s LC Phone guide (modified October 12, 2026) and Pricing Guide.
| Meter | Rate |
|---|---|
| US/CA SMS, in or out | $0.00747 per segment, plus carrier fee |
| Outbound voice | $0.0166 per minute |
| Inbound voice (web, mobile, deskphone) | $0.01165 per minute |
| Local number / toll-free number | $1.15 / $2.15 per month |
| LC Email | $0.675 per 1,000 |
| AI Employee | Pay-per-use tokens, or $50 (Growth) / $97 (Unlimited) per enabled location |
The full rate card, with MMS, recording, transcription, Voice AI by model, token prices and three worked monthly bills, is in GoHighLevel usage rates. It answers “how much does a text cost” and “how much does Voice AI cost per minute” with the arithmetic shown. Use it when you are building a budget.
Why does the money leave my card in lumps? The wallet
Usage is not billed once a month. HighLevel charges your card to load the wallet, usage draws the balance down, and when it falls below your threshold the card is charged again. Auto Recharge cannot be disabled, but its amount and trigger are yours to set, and a Smart Adjustment setting that raises the amount can be switched off. Monthly add-ons such as the WhatsApp subscription charge the card directly and never show in the wallet. If a charge appeared and you do not know why, the wallet and auto-recharge explainer has the menu paths, the rebilling rules for sub-accounts and a symptom to cause to fix table.
What are carrier fees and A2P registration, and who gets paid?
Those go to the carriers and the texting registry, passed through HighLevel. Each US SMS segment carries a recipient-carrier fee ($0.0035 AT&T, $0.0045 T-Mobile, $0.0050 Verizon and US Cellular, $0.0042 others outbound), and US business texting from a local number needs A2P 10DLC registration: $22.50 (Sole Proprietor or Low Volume) or $64 (High Volume) one time, then a campaign fee between $1.50 and $10 a month, per HighLevel’s A2P article modified September 24, 2026. The change history is in GoHighLevel price changes in 2026 and the October 2026 price changes. Total your registration with the A2P fee calculator; if a campaign is rejected, read why registration fails.
What other costs sit outside the plan?
HIPAA, the white-label mobile app, Premium Support, WhatsApp and AI plans are billed separately from the plan, and they are the usual reason a competitor comparison goes wrong. GoHighLevel hidden costs lists each with its rate and a decision matrix of which apply to which business, and is GoHighLevel HIPAA compliant covers the one with the largest flat fee.
How do I estimate my monthly GoHighLevel bill?
- Take your plan fee: $97, $297 or $497.
- Count monthly SMS segments (not messages), split outbound and inbound, and multiply by $0.00747 plus the carrier fee. The segment counter shows how a draft splits.
- Add voice minutes at the per-minute rates, rounded up to whole minutes per call, plus recording or transcription only if you will use them.
- Add email at $0.675 per 1,000 sends and numbers at $1.15 or $2.15 each.
- Add AI: choose pay-per-use or a per-location plan.
- Add A2P: the monthly campaign fee per sub-account, and the one-time fee in month one.
Or skip the arithmetic with the GoHighLevel pricing calculator. To sanity-check the result against the value side, see is GoHighLevel worth it for a small business.
How do I lower the bill I already have?
Find which service drains the wallet, then work through idle numbers, AI left on for unused locations, texts that split into three segments, MMS where SMS would do, oversized email lists, call transcription, the costlier Voice AI model and looping workflows. Each check has its rate and arithmetic in how to lower your GoHighLevel bill. The account health check is a broader self-audit.
What does it cost to hire someone?
That is a different budget from HighLevel’s fees and depends on scope more than hours. See what a GoHighLevel expert costs and the published pricing benchmark, and compare expert, agency and freelancer. aibrevo does not publish a single price for builds here; scope decides it, and aibrevo’s pricing page explains how a project is quoted. Cancelling later does not return fees, so read how to cancel GoHighLevel and get a refund before prepaying a year.
