GoHighLevel Price Changes in 2026: A Dated Tracker of Every Fee and Policy Update
Every 2026 change to GoHighLevel's usage pricing and messaging policy, in date order, from HighLevel's own changelog and help center: carrier fees, international SMS and voice, phone numbers, WhatsApp, AI pricing and email enforcement. Plan prices stayed at $97, $297 and $497 all year. Updated as HighLevel publishes changes.
Part of the guide: GoHighLevel pricing
Key takeaways
- GoHighLevel's plan prices did not change in 2026: $97, $297 and $497 a month. Every change on this list is to usage pricing (texts, calls, numbers, AI) or to messaging policy.
- We found 11 dated pricing or policy changes in HighLevel's changelog and help center between January 1 and October 13, 2026. Four change what a typical US account pays per text: carrier fee rounds on January 19, April 1, May 1 and October 1. Two more change Voice AI costs.
- Verizon's outbound toll-free SMS carrier fee rose twice in 2026, from $0.0040 to $0.0045 (May 1) and to $0.0050 (October 1), a 25% increase in the year.
- International accounts took most of the increases: SMS in 5 countries (May 13), 70+ destinations (July 6) and 12 more (October 13), plus voice routes in 40+ countries and number rentals in 10.
- Accounts with an active fixed-price agreement on an affected route keep their contracted rate until it ends, according to HighLevel's October 2026 announcements.
GoHighLevel’s headline prices didn’t move in 2026. What moved was everything underneath them: carrier fees on US texts, international SMS and voice rates, phone number rentals, AI pricing and the rules that suspend email sending. HighLevel announces these one at a time in its changelog, often without a publish date, so it’s hard to see the year as a whole. This page puts every change we could verify in one dated list, says whether each one affects US accounts, and links to the source.
Method. We searched HighLevel’s public changelog and help center for 2026 pricing and policy entries, opened each entry, and recorded the effective date and figures it states. Entries with no stated effective date are listed by the date we checked them. Last checked October 6, 2026. We’ll add new changes as HighLevel publishes them.

What changed for US accounts?
For an account that texts US contacts, carrier fees moved four times in 2026, and Voice AI users also saw the AI pricing update. HighLevel passes carrier fees through on top of its own per-segment SMS rate, so they show up as a slightly higher cost per text depending on each contact’s carrier.
| US carrier fee per outbound SMS | Start of 2026 | Now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| AT&T (SMS) | $0.0030 | $0.0035 | +$0.0005 (Apr 1) |
| Verizon (toll-free SMS) | $0.0040 | $0.0050 | +$0.0010 (May 1, Oct 1) |
| “Other” carriers | $0.0040 | $0.0042 | +$0.0002 (Oct 1) |
| T-Mobile (outbound SMS) | $0.0030 | $0.0045 | +$0.0015 (Jan 19; carrier inferred, see note) |
AT&T’s April change covers outbound and inbound SMS. Verizon’s October change covers long code, short code and toll-free outbound SMS at $0.0050; its May change named toll-free only. The January 19 entry does not name the carrier; its new figures ($0.0045 outbound, $0.0025 inbound SMS, $0.0100 MMS) match T-Mobile’s current fees on Twilio’s US SMS pricing page, which HighLevel’s help center points to for carrier fees. Illustrative cost effect. 10,000 outbound toll-free texts a month, all to Verizon customers: $40 in carrier fees at $0.0040, $50 at $0.0050. That’s $10 a month, or $120 a year. A single business barely notices it. An agency rebilling usage across 30 sub-accounts at similar volumes sees about $300 a month more in carrier fees to pass through, and should check its rebilling markup still covers it. The GoHighLevel pricing calculator estimates a full monthly bill from your own volumes.
What changed in GoHighLevel AI pricing?
HighLevel’s AI product pricing article (last updated September 28, 2026) records two dated changes: text-to-speech provider rates standardized from April 20, 2026, and the Voice Engine rate set at $0.045 per minute from May 20, 2026. Conversation AI is priced on input and output tokens, and the AI Employee plans list at $50 a month (Growth) and $97 a month (Unlimited). The article warns that third-party model rates can change with provider updates, so check it before quoting AI costs to a client.
What changed in messaging policy?
Price isn’t the only thing that changed. Three policy updates can stop messages from sending at all:
- Email enforcement. HighLevel’s changelog entry on progressive enforcement (no publish date shown) describes warnings, then 12-hour and 24-hour sending suspensions for sub-accounts over ESP block thresholds, with permanent suspension possible after repeat occurrences. Our email suspension rules page covers the thresholds in HighLevel’s help article.
- Mexico fixed-line SMS. From late September 2026, Mexico fixed-line numbers show “SMS unavailable” after a carrier migration; voice and WhatsApp still work. See our September updates.
- A2P 10DLC fees. HighLevel’s A2P fee article (modified September 24, 2026) lists $22.50 one-time for Sole Proprietor and Low Volume Standard brands, $64 for High Volume Standard, $15 per additional campaign and $1.50 to $10 a month per campaign. It doesn’t announce a dated change, so we list it as the current fee rather than a 2026 increase.
How to protect your account from the next change
- Read the effective date, not the post date. HighLevel’s changelog titles carry the effective date; the entries themselves often don’t show when they were posted.
- Know your carrier mix. Carrier fees differ by AT&T, Verizon and “Other”. A list that’s mostly one carrier feels that carrier’s changes most.
- Check international routes before campaigns. Most 2026 increases were outside the US. If you text or call abroad, re-check rates before a large send.
- Agencies: review rebilling after each change. If you rebill usage at a markup, a carrier fee rise comes out of your margin unless you adjust.
- Ask about fixed-price agreements. HighLevel’s October announcements say active fixed-price agreements keep their contracted rates for affected routes.
If your GoHighLevel bill keeps surprising you, the cause is usually configuration (duplicate workflows, unnecessary texts, AI features left on) more than price changes. aibrevo reviews GoHighLevel accounts and fixes what drives the bill; GoHighLevel builds are delivered by the team at autoesta, which backs aibrevo.
