What Does the Bitrix24 Free Plan Include?
Quick answer
The Bitrix24 Free plan includes basic CRM with unlimited deals and invoices, tasks in List, Kanban and Gantt views, chat and video calls for up to 300 people, 5 GB of Drive space, CoPilot, Sign and a free website builder. It has hard limits: search stops at 1,000 CRM items and an idle account is deleted after 50 days.
Key takeaways
- Bitrix24's help center lists these Free plan tools: messenger and video calls (up to 300 participants, no time limit), tasks, CRM with unlimited deals and invoices, CoPilot, 5 GB of Drive space, a website builder with free hosting, and Sign.
- Free is capped in ways that matter for a CRM: search covers at most 1,000 each of deals, contacts and companies, chat history is kept 30 days, and an account nobody signs in to for 50 days is deleted and cannot be restored.
- Tasks lock extra features after the 100th task, and REST API access is for commercial plans only, so a Free account cannot be connected to other systems through the API.
- Sales pipelines, recurring deals, email and telephony integrations and the web form designer start on the Basic plan, which includes 5 users.
- The sources disagree on how many users Free allows: the help center says no cap, the pricing page we read says 12 users. Confirm it in your own account under Subscription, View limits.
The Bitrix24 Free plan includes basic CRM with unlimited deals and invoices, tasks, chat and video calls for up to 300 people, 5 GB of Drive space, an AI assistant called CoPilot, document signing and a free website builder. It costs nothing and has no trial clock. The catch sits in the limits: search stops working past 1,000 records of a type, chat history is kept for 30 days, and an account nobody signs in to for 50 days is deleted. What does the Bitrix24 Free plan include?
Bitrix24’s help article “Free plan features” lists seven tools. The pricing page describes the same plan as a way to explore Bitrix24 before upgrading, with basic CRM for deals and contacts.
| Tool | What the Free plan gives you |
|---|---|
| Messenger and video calls | Video calls for up to 300 participants, no time limit |
| Tasks | Task creation, owners and deadlines in List, Kanban and Gantt views |
| CRM | Customer management, unlimited deals in the pipeline, unlimited invoices |
| CoPilot | AI assistant in chat |
| Drive | Shared file storage, 5 GB |
| Sites and online stores | Website builder with free hosting |
| Sign | Online document signing with contractors |

The help article adds that the plan is switched on by default after signup, works in a browser and in the mobile app, and that some tools are paid-only without naming them. Bitrix24’s pricing page fills that gap indirectly: its Basic card is labelled “Everything in Free, plus” and then lists 24 GB of storage, sales pipelines, recurring deals, email integration, telephony, the web form designer and the website builder. So those are the first things Free does not have.
What are the limits of the Bitrix24 free plan?
The limits are concentrated in four places: search, tasks, chat history and inactivity.
| Limit | Free plan value |
|---|---|
| Searchable tasks, deals, contacts and companies | 1,000 each, completed items included |
| Task features locked | From the 101st task (tasks and subtasks both count) |
| Chat and channel message history | 30 days |
| Account deletion if nobody signs in | After 50 days, not restorable |
| Drive storage | 5 GB |
| CRM backup period | 7 days |
| REST API and webhooks | Not available (commercial plans only) |

Two of these deserve a closer look.
The 1,000-item search cap. The help article says search works only while you are under your plan’s limit, counted separately for tasks and for each CRM item type. Go over it and search stops for that type, though default filters and filters you saved earlier still work. You restore search by deleting items or upgrading.
The inactivity rule. A Free account with no sign-ins for 50 days is marked inactive and deleted, and Bitrix24 says deleted accounts cannot be restored. If your CRM data lives there, export it on a schedule. Our guide to exporting Bitrix24 CRM to Excel shows how.
How many users does the Bitrix24 free plan allow?
The two Bitrix24 pages we read give different answers, and we cannot tell which is current. The help article “Number of users on Bitrix24 Cloud plans” says the Free plan includes all core tools and supports an unlimited number of users. The pricing page we loaded says “100% free for 12 users.”
For paid plans the help center is explicit: the Basic plan is limited to 5 users, Standard to 50 and Professional to 100, and Enterprise is for 100 to 10,000 employees. On a paid plan, invited users beyond the cap cannot sign in, and the allowed-user counter updates every 30 days. To see your own limit, open Subscription, choose View limits, then open the Users section.
Does the Bitrix24 free plan have limits on tasks?
Yes. Free accounts can use the full task toolset for the first 100 tasks. From the 101st task, the help center lists these features as locked with a padlock icon: adding a participant or observer, delegating a task, the control-after-completion option, recurring tasks, templates with subtasks, the Supervise section and task statistics in the Efficiency section. Time tracking cannot be switched on from the start.
The count includes subtasks, deleting old tasks does not give the features back, and the limit applies only to new tasks. Tasks created earlier keep what they had. One older help article puts the lock at 101 tasks in slightly different words and lists a different set of locked features, so treat the exact list as one to confirm in the app.
Can you use the Bitrix24 API or connect other tools on the free plan?
Not through the REST API. Bitrix24’s error-code reference returns a 401 ACCESS_DENIED error with the text “REST is available only on commercial plans” and says Vibe+ plans include REST API access while Essentials plans do not. Free belongs to the Essentials family on the pricing page. A webhook gets a different message: “REST is available only by subscription.”
That matters if you plan to push leads in from forms, a website or another CRM. If you already hit the rate limit on a paid plan, see how to fix Bitrix24 QUERY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED.
Is the Bitrix24 free plan enough for a CRM?
It is enough to hold a small contact list and one sales process. It is not enough once your CRM needs to talk to other systems or grow past a thousand records of one type.
The signals to move up are specific and documented: you want more than one sales pipeline, you want email and telephony inside the CRM, you need REST access, or search has stopped working on contacts. Basic is the next step and includes 5 users. If you are weighing it against other free tiers, does Pipedrive have a free plan covers one, and our CRM pricing comparison sets plan costs side by side.
When to get help
Staying on Free is a fine choice for a small team. Help pays off when you outgrow it and need to move contacts, deals and history into a CRM with pipelines, automation and an API, without losing records on the way. Bitrix24 is quoted per project: aibrevo does not implement Bitrix24, but migrating a Bitrix24 account into one of the eight platforms it builds on (Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, monday.com, Airtable and GoHighLevel) is a common request. Book a short call or send a message with your record counts, and see the CRM migration guide and the HubSpot service page for what a move involves.
