Key takeaways

  • Bitrix24 exports CRM data only from List view, as xls (Excel) or csv. Open the section (Leads, Deals, Contacts, Companies), filter, open Settings, pick the format and click Run.
  • The file holds only the columns currently shown in the table. To get every field, tick Export all deal fields or Export all contact and company fields in the export settings.
  • In Contacts, only records with the Included in export option switched on are exported. This is the usual reason a contact export comes out short.
  • You can export leads, deals, contacts, companies, estimates, invoices and smart processes, with each deal pipeline exported separately.
  • The help article does not state row or file size limits, and it says contact export depends on your plan. For large volumes the REST API is paced at 2 requests per second on most plans.

To export Bitrix24 CRM data to Excel, open the CRM section you need, switch to List view, apply your filters, click Settings, choose xls or csv and click Run. What are the steps to export Bitrix24 CRM to Excel?

Bitrix24 says you can export CRM data to move it to another system, create a backup, or analyze it in third-party tools. The steps:

  1. Open the CRM section, such as Leads, Deals, Contacts or Companies.
  2. Switch to List view. Export is available only there.
  3. In Contacts, make sure the Included in export option is on for the records you want.
  4. Apply filters. The file includes all items in the current list.
  5. Choose the fields. The file includes only the fields displayed in the table. Use the settings icon above the table to add or remove columns.
  6. Open Settings and choose the export format.
  7. Optionally tick Export all deal fields, Export all contact and company fields or Export detailed SKUs.
  8. Click Run and wait until the export finishes.

The help article does not say where the finished file is delivered, so check your browser downloads and notifications.

Which export format should you pick, xls or csv?

Pick xls if you will open the file in Excel for analysis or charts, and csv if another system will read it.

Format What it is Best for
xls Excel table format Analysis, pivot tables, charts
csv Plain text, comma-separated values, opens in any text editor Importing into another CRM, scripts

If the file is going into another CRM, csv is the safer choice. Each destination has its own import rules, and our CRM import limits comparison shows the row limits you will meet there.

Why is my Bitrix24 export missing fields or contacts?

Three settings decide what ends up in the file, and each one has a documented default.

Symptom Cause Fix
Fewer contacts than the list shows Included in export is off for some contacts Switch it on in the contact form or with group actions, then export again
Columns you expected are absent Only displayed table columns are exported Add columns with the settings icon, or tick the all-fields option
Product details missing from a deal export Product data is not included by default Tick Export detailed SKUs
Fewer rows than the whole CRM A filter is active Clear the filter, since the file covers the current list
Export option is not visible Missing CRM permission, or the plan does not include it Ask an administrator, and check your plan

The article states that contact export depends on your Bitrix24 plan and points to the pricing page to confirm it. Which plans include it is not stated in the help article, so verify in your own account.

What can you export from Bitrix24 CRM?

The help article lists leads, deals, contacts, companies, estimates, invoices and smart processes. Leads and invoices can be exported by stage, and each deal pipeline is exported separately, so a CRM with several pipelines needs one export per pipeline. Only users with the required CRM permissions can export, and those rights come from role-based access permissions.

For a full copy, export the objects in the order you will import them elsewhere: companies, contacts, then deals. Keep the ID columns, so links can be rebuilt in the destination. The export guide for eight CRMs shows how other platforms handle the same job.

How do you export a large Bitrix24 database or automate it?

The list-view export is manual, and the help article states no row limit, file size limit or schedule. For automated or large pulls the options are the REST API and the BI connector.

The REST API is rate-limited: on cloud plans other than Enterprise the counter drains at 2 requests per second and blocks at 50, which is about 172,800 requests a day. List methods return 50 records per page, and the batch method packs up to 50 calls into one request. Bitrix24’s documentation says the REST API is not designed for mass data exchange and points to the BI connector for large volumes. If an export script fails with HTTP 503, see how to fix QUERY_LIMIT_EXCEEDED. REST access needs a commercial plan: Free accounts are refused with ACCESS_DENIED.

That makes the Free plan’s inactivity rule worth a calendar reminder. Per what the Bitrix24 Free plan includes, a Free account with no sign-ins for 50 days is deleted and cannot be restored. Export on a schedule if your CRM lives there.

How do you check an export before you rely on it?

Compare counts and spot-check records, because the help article gives no completeness guarantee.

  1. Note the item count shown in the list view with your filter applied.
  2. Open the exported file and count rows. They should match, allowing for the header row.
  3. Check five records against the CRM, including one with several phone numbers or emails.
  4. Confirm that custom fields you rely on are columns in the file.
  5. Store the file somewhere access-controlled. Our CRM data migration security checklist covers handling exports that contain personal data.

When to get help

One export is a few minutes of work. Help pays off when the export is the first step of a migration: several pipelines, custom fields, linked records and a deadline for switching systems. Bitrix24 is quoted per project and aibrevo does not implement it. Moving Bitrix24 data into Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, monday.com, Airtable or GoHighLevel is a common request. Book a short call or send a message, and see the Pipedrive service page as one example destination.

FAQs

How do I export Bitrix24 CRM data to Excel?

Open the CRM section, such as Contacts or Deals, and switch to List view. Apply any filters, since the file covers the items in the current list. Open Settings, choose xls for Excel or csv, optionally tick the all-fields options, then click Run and wait for the export to finish. Export works only from List view.

Why is my Bitrix24 contact export missing contacts?

In Contacts, only records with the Included in export option enabled are exported. Switch the option on in the contact form, or for many records at once with group actions, then export again. Also check that your filter is not hiding records, because the file contains the items in the current list.

How do I export all fields from Bitrix24?

By default the file includes only the fields shown as columns in the table, which you can change with the settings icon. For everything, tick Export all deal fields or Export all contact and company fields in the export settings. A third option, Export detailed SKUs, adds product data to a deal export.

Can Bitrix24 export to xls and csv?

Yes. Bitrix24 offers xls, an Excel table format suited to analysis and charts, and csv, a plain text file with comma-separated values that opens in any text editor. Both are available only from the List view. The help article does not mention a native xlsx option.

What can you export from Bitrix24 CRM?

Leads, deals, contacts, companies, estimates, invoices and smart processes. For leads and invoices you can export items at specific stages, and each deal pipeline is exported separately. Contact export depends on your Bitrix24 plan, and only users with the right CRM permissions can run an export.

Is there a limit on how many records Bitrix24 can export?

The export help article states no row limit, file size limit or delivery location. The only documented limits are about volume through the REST API, which allows about 2 requests per second on most plans. If you need a full backup or are moving systems, test with a filtered export and compare record counts.

Who can export data from Bitrix24 CRM?

Only users with the required CRM permissions. Access is controlled by role-based CRM permissions, so an employee without export rights will not see the option. The help article also says contact export depends on your plan, so confirm on the pricing page that your plan includes it.

How do I export Bitrix24 data for a CRM migration?

Use the help center's own use case: moving data to another system. Export companies, contacts, then deals, each with all fields ticked, and keep IDs so you can rebuild links in the new CRM. Export each deal pipeline separately, and check the file's record count against Bitrix24's list count before you import elsewhere.

Can I export Bitrix24 data automatically on a schedule?

The CRM export help article describes only a manual export from List view and mentions no schedule. For automatic extraction, Bitrix24 provides the REST API, rate-limited to about 2 requests per second on most plans, and a built-in BI connector for large datasets. Free accounts have no REST API access.

What happens to my Bitrix24 data if a free account goes inactive?

On the Free plan, if nobody signs in for 50 days the account is marked inactive and deleted, and Bitrix24 says deleted accounts cannot be restored. If your CRM lives on Free, export it to xls or csv on a regular schedule so a lapse cannot cost you the data.
