Follow Up Boss Alternatives: 7 Real Estate CRMs and What the Export Leaves Behind

Follow Up Boss alternatives for real estate agents and teams: seven options with published prices checked Oct 22, 2026, a 5-agent cost chart, and what a Follow Up Boss export leaves behind, including emails, call recordings and all but the latest 50 notes, texts and calls per contact.

Key takeaways

  • Follow Up Boss lists Grow at $58 per user, Pro at $416 a month with 10 users included and Platform at $833 a month with 30 users included, all billed yearly (FUB pricing page, checked Oct 22, 2026). Calling is a $33 per user add-on on Grow and included on Pro and Platform.
  • The Follow Up Boss export cannot take everything. Emails and call recordings cannot be exported, and only the most recent 50 calls, 50 texts and 50 notes per contact come out (FUB help center, updated April 21, 2026).
  • For 5 agents, yearly cost is about $6,900 for HubSpot Sales Hub Professional with onboarding, $3,480 for FUB Grow, $2,340 for Pipedrive Growth, $970 for GoHighLevel Starter and $499 for Wise Agent, before add-ons and usage fees.
  • Lofty and BoldTrail show no prices on their pricing pages and ask for a demo or quote. Top Producer shows two different Pro prices, $179 and $98 per user a month, in different sections of one page.
  • Cancelling Follow Up Boss is an owner action under Admin, Billing, Cancel Subscription. Access continues to the end of the billing cycle unless you delete the account immediately.

Follow Up Boss gets expensive per head and cannot hand over everything you put into it: its own help center says emails and call recordings cannot be exported, and a contact export carries only the latest 50 calls, 50 texts and 50 notes. If you are shopping for Follow Up Boss alternatives (prices checked Oct 22, 2026), the licence price is the smaller decision. This page covers seven options, a 5-agent cost chart, and the export and cancellation steps so you do not lose the history. For head-to-head comparisons with two of the options, see aibrevo’s existing pages on GoHighLevel for real estate agents and HubSpot for real estate teams.

What does Follow Up Boss cost, and why do agents look elsewhere?

Follow Up Boss prices per user on Grow and in blocks of users on Pro and Platform. The pricing page (checked Oct 22, 2026) lists these figures.

Plan Billed yearly Billed monthly Users included Extra users (yearly / monthly) Calling
Grow $58 per user per month $69 per user Priced per user n/a Add-on, $33 per user yearly or $39 monthly
Pro $416 a month $499 a month 10 $41 / $49 Included, with unlimited texting
Platform $833 a month $1,000 a month 30 $17 / $20 Included, with unlimited texting

The arithmetic matters when you pick a plan. Pro costs less than Grow from 8 users ($416 against 8 x $58 = $464). Platform costs less than Pro with extra users from 21 users ($833 against $416 plus 11 extra users at $41 = $867). A team of 6 on Grow with calling pays $91 per user, about $546 a month, which is why a flat account price starts to look attractive. The page offers a trial but gives two lengths, so confirm it when you sign up.

Which seven alternatives should a real estate team compare?

Seven, chosen because they appear next to Follow Up Boss in search suggestions and publish at least some information. Cloze and Brivity also appear in those suggestions, and I did not verify their prices, so they are not in the table.

CRM Published price (checked Oct 22, 2026) Best at The limit that matters
GoHighLevel $97, $297, $497 per account per month; unlimited users Texting, funnels and automation on one account price Texts and calls are usage-billed; no real estate pipeline or MLS depth out of the box (see our GoHighLevel real estate page)
HubSpot Sales Hub Free for 2 users; Professional $90 per seat plus $1,500 onboarding Marketing, reporting and custom data No native IDX or MLS feed below Enterprise, per our HubSpot real estate page
Pipedrive Lite $14, Growth $39, Premium $59, Ultimate $79 per seat Simple pipeline management General-purpose, so real estate lead sources and routing are yours to build
Wise Agent $49 a month, or $42 a month billed yearly ($499 a year) Lowest published real estate CRM price Up to 5 team members on a shared login; extra logins are $20 a month each; texting is a $11 a month add-on plus $80 one-time registration
Lofty Request Pricing on every plan Websites, lead generation and CRM bundled No published price; seller lead generation needs a 20 percent ad management fee
BoldTrail (kvCORE) Pricing through a demo IDX websites, CRM, done-for-you lead generation, back-office tools No published price
Top Producer Pro shown at $179 per user per month in one section and $98 in another; Teams $399 for up to 5 users, $699 for up to 10, $1,199 for up to 25 MLS integration with 320+ boards and built-in transaction management Two conflicting Pro prices on one page, and lead products are quoted by volume

Sources: GoHighLevel pricing, HubSpot Sales Hub pricing, Pipedrive pricing page (read Oct 22, 2026, annual billing), Wise Agent pricing, Lofty pricing, BoldTrail pricing and Top Producer pricing. The “best at” column paraphrases each vendor’s own page, not a ranking. Top Producer’s second Pro price ($98) sits beside a list that includes automated SMS and email lead response and MLS integration, and I could not tell which section applies to which market, so ask before you budget. I use the name BoldTrail (kvCORE) because aibrevo’s existing real estate pages group the two names; confirm the current branding with the vendor.

Yearly cost for 5 agents

HubSpot Sales Hub Professional (incl. $1,500 onboarding)
$6,900
Follow Up Boss Grow with Calling ($91)
$5,460
Follow Up Boss Grow, no calling ($58)
$3,480
Pipedrive Growth ($39)
$2,340
GoHighLevel Starter (flat, yearly)
$970
Wise Agent (5 members, $499 a year)
$499

Seat price x 5 agents x 12 months, or the flat yearly plan price. Follow Up Boss Grow with Calling is $58 plus $33 per user per month billed yearly. Lofty, BoldTrail and Top Producer are left out because their prices are not published or are ambiguous. Sources: vendor pricing pages checked Oct 22, 2026. Excludes SMS and call usage, lead-vendor fees, add-ons and tax.

Read the chart as plan fees only. GoHighLevel and Wise Agent are the cheapest on paper, but one has no real estate setup out of the box and the other shares a login across 5 members. Follow Up Boss’s higher price pays for lead-source connections, lead distribution, Smart Lists and Action Plans, which its pricing page lists on Grow. Our GoHighLevel versus Follow Up Boss comparison and HubSpot versus Follow Up Boss comparison put the same costs at other team sizes, and monday CRM for real estate covers the board-based option.

Which alternative fits which reason for leaving?

  • Per-agent price on a 6 to 20 person team. A flat account price: GoHighLevel. Read GoHighLevel for real estate lead automation for what the build involves.
  • You want marketing and reporting depth. HubSpot, with the $1,500 Professional onboarding fee in the budget.
  • You want a solo or small-team price. Wise Agent at $49 a month, with the shared-login limit in mind.
  • You want IDX websites and lead generation from the same vendor. Lofty, BoldTrail (kvCORE) or Top Producer. All three need a quote.
  • You want to build around your own process. Pipedrive or monday CRM. See GoHighLevel setup for real estate if you want texting and automation wired to Zillow and Facebook leads.

What does it cost to move off Follow Up Boss?

The exported file is the cost. Follow Up Boss’s help center (updated April 21, 2026) sets the contact export steps:

  1. Go to People, All People.
  2. Filter to the contacts you want.
  3. Check the box next to Name and choose Select All.
  4. Click Export (the downward arrow icon).
  5. Tick Export All Columns. Without it, only the exposed columns on the People page export.
  6. Click Yes, Export People. The CSV downloads at once.

Who can export: account owners by default. Owners can grant others the Can Export setting under Admin, Teams, and the owner gets an email each time anyone exports. Now what comes out and what does not.

Item In the export? (FUB help center)
Contact fields, stage, lead source, tags, custom fields Yes, with All Columns
Phones, emails, addresses Up to 6 of each per contact with All Columns; only the first one without
Notes, calls, texts Only the most recent 50 of each per contact
Relationships Up to 4 per contact, spouses prioritised
Third-party texts, such as Ylopo’s Raiya Yes, inside the 50-text window
Emails No. Stored only in Follow Up Boss; sent and received mail stays in the agent’s connected inbox
Call recordings No
Pond name No. The lead’s Pond assignment exports, so add the Pond name as a tag first

Before you cancel, FUB also recommends removing API keys (it stops API activity at once) and archiving lead sources so new leads stop flowing in. The cancellation steps from the help center are Admin, Billing, Cancel Subscription, then choose a reason and Leave Follow Up Boss. The card is not charged again, you keep access to the end of the billing cycle, or you can delete the account immediately and lose access for the whole team. An owner can reactivate before the subscription expires.

Two practical points. Zip codes starting with 0 lose the zero in Excel, so reformat the column before import, per the help article. And if a contact has more than 50 notes, the older ones need another source, such as the FUB API or screenshots of the profile; the help article does not name a bulk route for them. For how other vendors treat history, see how to export your data from 8 CRMs, and CRM import limits compared for the receiving side. Build-cost ranges (median of published price pages, checked October 2026, not aibrevo quotes) are $3k to $6k for a small HubSpot build and $1.5k to $3.5k for Pipedrive, in the implementation cost benchmark. aibrevo’s GoHighLevel setup for real estate page lists the migration scope for Follow Up Boss, BoldTrail (kvCORE) and Lofty data.

When to get help

The costly part of leaving Follow Up Boss is rebuilding action plans, lead routing and the Zillow, Facebook and website connections, not moving contacts. aibrevo builds GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive and monday.com setups, and a project that starts from Follow Up Boss, Lofty, BoldTrail or Top Producer is quoted per project, since none of those four is a platform aibrevo implements. If you want a fixed plan for the cutover, book a short call or send a message with your agent count, lead sources and what you are leaving over. The matching service pages are GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Pipedrive and monday.

FAQs

What is the best alternative to Follow Up Boss?

There is no single best. Wise Agent is the cheapest published option at $49 a month for up to 5 team members. GoHighLevel suits teams that want texting, funnels and unlimited users on one account price. HubSpot suits teams that need marketing and reporting depth. Lofty, BoldTrail and Top Producer are real estate platforms that bundle websites and lead services, and the first two do not publish prices.

How much does Follow Up Boss cost?

On annual billing, Grow is $58 per user per month, Pro is $416 a month including 10 users with $41 per extra user, and Platform is $833 a month including 30 users with $17 per extra user. Monthly billing is $69 per user, $499 and $1,000. Calling is a $33 per user add-on on Grow billed yearly and is included on Pro and Platform.

Can I export my contacts from Follow Up Boss?

Yes. Go to People, All People, filter and select the contacts, click the export arrow, tick All Columns, and confirm. The file is a CSV. Owners can export by default and can grant the Can Export setting to users under Admin, Teams. The account owner gets an email each time anyone exports. The export does not remove contacts from Follow Up Boss.

What does a Follow Up Boss export not include?

Emails cannot be exported, because they are stored only in Follow Up Boss, though sent and received emails remain in the agent's connected email account. Call recordings cannot be exported. With All Columns, each contact includes only the most recent 50 calls, 50 texts and 50 notes, up to 6 phones, emails and addresses, and 4 relationships.

How do I cancel Follow Up Boss?

The account owner goes to Admin, then Billing, then Cancel Subscription, gives a reason and chooses Leave Follow Up Boss. The card is not charged again and you keep access until the billing cycle ends, or you can delete the account immediately under Admin, Billing. Export contacts first, remove API keys and archive lead sources before you cancel.

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than Follow Up Boss?

On plan fees, usually for teams. GoHighLevel is $97, $297 or $497 a month per account with unlimited users, against Follow Up Boss Grow at $58 per user. At 5 agents that is $970 a year for GoHighLevel Starter against $3,480 for Grow. GoHighLevel bills texts and calls by usage, and it has no real estate setup out of the box.

Does Lofty publish its prices?

Not on the pricing page we read. Every plan shows Request Pricing. The page notes that Seller Lead Generation requires a 20 percent ad management fee, and that buying it without an IDX site requires a $70 a month Home Evaluation Page. BoldTrail's pricing page likewise points to a demo to get pricing.
