Keap Alternatives (Infusionsoft): 5 Options Priced Against $299 a Month
Keap alternatives for Infusionsoft users facing a $299 monthly start, a required onboarding fee, $39 per extra user and an API deprecation date, with prices checked on each vendor's page, and what a Keap contact export leaves out.
Key takeaways
- Keap's pricing page lists one platform starting at $299 a month billed monthly or $2,988 billed annually, with 2 user licenses included, $39 a month per extra user and a required onboarding package whose price is not shown (checked Oct 22, 2026).
- For 10 users, Keap's published prices come to about $6,732 a year on annual billing before onboarding and text overages, against $2,970 a year for GoHighLevel's annual Unlimited plan with unlimited users. GoHighLevel's calls, SMS and email are billed by usage on top.
- Keap already includes automated texting (US only for automated and broadcast texts), so texting alone is no reason to switch. The reasons visible in Keap's own pages are price, unpublished contact tiers, a required onboarding fee and the XML-RPC API deprecation on March 15, 2027.
- Keap's contact export covers standard and custom fields but not tags. Exports of 1,000 contacts or fewer download at once, and larger ones arrive as an email link.
Keap’s pricing page lists a single platform starting at $299 a month on monthly billing, or $2,988 a year billed annually, with 2 user licenses included, $39 a month for each extra user and a required onboarding package with no price shown (checked Oct 22, 2026). People who search for Keap alternatives, or Infusionsoft alternatives, are usually reacting to that start price, to contact-based pricing the page does not publish, or to a legacy integration that is about to lose support.
This page lists five alternatives with prices checked on each vendor’s own page, what each does best, the limit that matters, and what moving off Keap costs. It also states one thing that may surprise you: Keap already has built-in texting and automation, so those two features are not a reason to switch by themselves.
What are the best Keap alternatives?
The best alternative depends on how many people use the system and how much you depend on automation. The table gives each option’s published price and the limit to check first.
| Alternative | Price | Best at | Limit that matters |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoHighLevel | $97, $297 or $497 per account per month; unlimited users and contacts | CRM, workflows, email and SMS marketing and booking in one plan | Calls, SMS and email billed by usage on top; rates not on the pricing page |
| HubSpot Sales Hub | Free for 2 users; Professional $90 per seat plus $1,500 onboarding | Free tier and a marketing platform behind the CRM | Professional is $1,080 per seat per year, and onboarding is required |
| Pipedrive | Lite $14, Growth $39, Premium $59, Ultimate $79 per seat, billed annually | Visual deal pipeline; Growth adds email sync, automations and sequences | Email marketing is a separate Campaigns add-on, starting from $13.33 |
| Insightly | CRM $29, $49 or $99 per user; marketing automation $99, $499 or $999 per account | CRM plus marketing automation from one vendor, with an All-in-One bundle | Marketing is priced per account by prospect count, so the total is a sum |
| Close | Solo $9, Essentials $35, Growth $99, Scale $139 per user, billed annually | Calling and SMS built into every plan | Workflows and power dialer only from Growth ($99) |
Source: each vendor’s pricing page, checked Oct 22, 2026. GoHighLevel’s annual prices are $970, $2,970 and $4,970. Keap’s own page lists $299 a month, or $2,988 billed annually.
Why do people leave Keap?
The reasons visible in Keap’s own pages are price structure, unpublished tiers and an API date. Reviewer opinions about complexity exist but are not facts we could verify, so they are not counted here.
- The start price. $299 a month on monthly billing, or $2,988 billed annually (about $249 a month).
- Contacts and onboarding are not on the page. The page says contact pricing falls as counts rise but publishes no tier amounts, and the required onboarding (a business mapping session, done-for-you automations, data import and migration) has no price shown.
- Extra users. 2 are included, and each additional user is $39 a month.
- Texting is metered in tiers. Tier 1 includes 500 messages. Higher tiers run $24 for 1,000, $39 for 2,500, $79 for 5,000, $139 for 10,000 and $279 for 25,000, with overages at $0.015 per message. Automated and broadcast texts are US only.
- The XML-RPC API. Keap’s help center (updated Oct 9, 2026) says Keap’s XML-RPC API will be fully deprecated on March 15, 2027 without warranty or support, instead of the December 31, 2026 sunset announced in December 2025. Integrations built on it keep running, but Keap will not fix an outage.
One discrepancy to check on your own account. Keap’s help center text-message FAQ (updated June 24, 2026) lists 150 credits for Pro and 250 for Max, plan names that the pricing page we read no longer shows. Your contract decides which applies.
How much do Keap alternatives cost for 10 users?
At 10 users, Keap’s published prices come to about $6,732 a year, which sits between the flat-rate tools and HubSpot Professional. The chart uses annual-billing prices for 10 users over 12 months. Keap is $2,988 for the platform plus 8 extra users at $39 a month ($3,744), which assumes the extra-user fee is monthly. GoHighLevel uses its annual Unlimited price.
Read the chart as a floor, not a quote. Keap’s real bill depends on contacts, onboarding and texting, none of which are fully published. GoHighLevel’s depends on usage. The GoHighLevel usage rates for SMS, voice and email guide has the metered numbers, and GoHighLevel pricing 2026 explained covers the plans.
Is GoHighLevel a good alternative to Keap?
Yes for a small team that wants the same shape of system at a flat price, and no if you do not want to run a more configurable platform. GoHighLevel’s pricing page lists CRM and pipelines, workflow automation, email and SMS marketing, booking calendars and unified conversations, with unlimited users and contacts on every plan (checked Oct 22, 2026). Keap has built-in texting too, so the case for GoHighLevel is per-seat and per-contact pricing, not a missing feature.
What you give up is Keap’s guided onboarding. GoHighLevel’s pricing page shows usage-based charges for calling, email and SMS without rates, and the work of building pipelines, workflows and snapshots falls on you or a partner. The broader trade is covered in GoHighLevel alternatives compared, which lists Keap among eight tools, and in GoHighLevel vs HubSpot.
What does moving off Keap cost, and what does the export leave behind?
The contact export is quick, and it leaves out more than tags. These steps come from Keap’s help center article on exporting contacts (updated July 18, 2026; checked Oct 22, 2026).
- Go to Contacts, then People, and select the contacts to export. Check Select All for everyone.
- Click Export at the bottom of the page.
- For 1,000 contacts or fewer, a CSV downloads immediately. For 1,001 or more, enter an email address for a download link. The recipient must be able to log in to Keap.
The export covers standard fields and custom fields. Tags cannot be exported; Keap Pro and Max users can run the Tag Tracker report to match exported contact IDs with tags. The article does not describe campaigns, notes, tasks or order history in the export, so treat those as not covered and plan to document your campaigns by hand before you cancel. We found no help article that exports campaign logic as a file.
Budget for the rebuild. aibrevo’s CRM implementation cost benchmark lists small HubSpot builds at roughly $3k to $6k and Pipedrive at roughly $1.5k to $3.5k (published price pages, checked Oct 2026). Run CRM data cleaning before migration first, and follow the CRM migration guide for the order of work. Note Keap’s own monthly contract terms and any annual commitment before you cancel.
When should you stay on Keap?
Stay when your automations are built, your team is two or three people, and the $299 start is not the problem. Keap includes texting, email, pipeline automation and onboarding in one price, and moving means rebuilding campaigns without a published export for them. If the real trigger is the XML-RPC date, moving the integration to REST v2 is cheaper than moving the CRM.
When to get help
Get help when you have years of Keap campaigns to rebuild, tags you need to recover from the Tag Tracker report, or integrations on the XML-RPC API. aibrevo implements Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive, monday.com, Airtable and GoHighLevel, and a move from another CRM into one of those eight is a common request. Keap itself is quoted per project, and GoHighLevel builds run $1,499 to $4,999 for a full CRM setup at the time of writing.
Book a short call or send a message with your user count and contact count. The GoHighLevel service page lists what a build includes, and the HubSpot service page covers the common alternative.
