monday CRM Implementation Services: Scope, Timeline and What It Costs in 2026

Quick answer

monday CRM implementation services cover discovery, board design, automations, data migration, testing, training and handoff. monday.com sells three fixed packages at $10,500, $21,000 and $31,500, while published agency bands run $2k to $5k for a small build, $10k to $15.5k mid-market and $25k or more for a heavy one. This page shows what each phase delivers, what the packages exclude, how licence cost adds up and what pushes a quote higher, with notes for the UK and Australia.

Key takeaways

  • monday.com sells its own fixed implementation packages: Essential $10,500 (up to 8 weeks, 5 boards, 1 team, up to 50 users), Advanced $21,000 (up to 12 weeks, 10 boards, 2 teams, up to 250 users) and Premier $31,500 (up to 16 weeks, 20 boards, 3 teams, up to 500 users), per monday.com's implementation page, checked Oct 25, 2026.
  • The packages exclude custom data migrations, custom integrations and app development, and monday.com describes data import and integration help as consulting only (checked Oct 25, 2026). A project that needs those is quoted separately.
  • Published agency bands for monday.com CRM are $2k to $5k small, $10k to $15.5k mid-market and $25k or more enterprise (median of published pages, Oct 15, 2026). The $10,500 package equals the low end of the mid-market band, so compare scope as well as price.
  • Licences are separate and recurring. Ten seats cost $120, $170 or $280 a month on Basic, Standard or Pro billed yearly (monday.com CRM pricing page, checked Oct 25, 2026), so $1,440 to $3,360 a year before tax.
  • Cost goes up with the number of handoffs between boards, the amount of data to migrate, the number of integrations and the number of teams, not with the number of boards.

A monday CRM implementation is a scoped project that turns the empty boards you get on sign-up into a working sales process: connected boards, rules for who owns each field, automations for the moments that matter, your old data moved in, and a team that can run it. monday.com sells three fixed implementation packages itself, from $10,500, and agencies publish their own bands from $2k. This page lays out what the work consists of, how the weeks break down, what to put in and leave out of the scope, and why two quotes for “monday CRM setup” can differ by a factor of five. For the separate question of who to hire and how to check them, read monday CRM expert.

What do monday CRM implementation services actually include?

They include everything between “we bought licences” and “reps use it every day”: discovery, design, build, migration, testing, training and handoff. The table sets the full scope against what monday.com’s own packages say they cover, because the two are not the same thing.

Source: monday.com implementation packages, checked Oct 25, 2026; the left column is aibrevo’s scope checklist for monday.com builds. The row that causes most arguments later is migration. If your quote says “data import” and you have eight years of deals in another tool, ask whether that means a template upload or a mapped, de-duplicated move, because they are priced very differently. Our Airtable to monday.com guide shows why relationships between tables are the hard part of any move.

What are the phases of a monday CRM implementation, and how long does each take?

Seven phases, and a single-team build compresses them into about two weeks, while a cross-team build with a migration stretches them to six to eight. monday.com’s own packages allow up to 8 weeks (Essential), 12 (Advanced) and 16 (Premier). Each phase should end with something you can check, such as a tested automation or a signed-off import.

1. Discovery

How leads arrive, who touches them, what "won" means, which tools hold customer data. You can check: a one-page process map you agree with.

2. Data model

Which board owns which field, which boards connect, what mirrors. You can check: a diagram of boards and connections.

3. Build

Boards, columns, statuses, forms, automations and permissions in a staging copy. You can check: a login to click through.

4. Migration

Clean, map, import, de-duplicate, then test a sample. You can check: a sample of records matched to the source.

5. Testing

Each automation fires once, not twice; each permission hides what it should. You can check: a written test log.

6. Training and go-live

Role-based sessions, a cutover date, the old system set to read-only. You can check: a recording and a one-page cheat sheet.

7. Hypercare

A fixed window after go-live for fixes. You can check: a list of issues and who closed them.

Phase Single-team build Cross-team build with migration What usually makes it slip
1 to 2, Discovery and data model Days 1 to 3 Week 1 Nobody can say who owns a field
3, Build Days 4 to 8 Weeks 2 to 4 Statuses renamed mid-build
4, Migration Days 8 to 10 Weeks 3 to 5 Dirty source data, missing owners on records
5, Testing Day 10 Weeks 5 to 6 Reps unavailable to test
6, Training and go-live Days 11 to 14 Weeks 7 to 8 A cutover date that keeps moving
7, Hypercare 1 to 2 weeks 2 to 4 weeks Change requests that are really new scope

Source: aibrevo build plan for monday.com projects, Oct 25, 2026; phase durations are our own estimates for the two project shapes, not monday.com figures. The calendar runs longer than the effort because waiting for your answers is part of the schedule. For the same timeline from the buyer’s side, with the questions to ask at each stage, see the week-by-week plan on the monday CRM expert page.

What should be in the scope, and what should be written out of it?

Write both lists down before signing. A scope with no exclusions has not been thought through, and the exclusions are where most change orders come from.

Put in the scope:

  1. The boards and their owners: Leads, Contacts, Accounts and Deals as monday ships them, plus any delivery or onboarding boards, with a named owner for each.
  2. The status vocabulary, written down, because renaming a status label later can stop an automation without any error.
  3. Each automation, named and described in one sentence, with its trigger and action. A won-deal handoff that creates an onboarding item, assigns an owner and sends a notification is three actions every time it fires.
  4. Email and calendar sync, and which plan it needs. Emails & Activities needs Standard or above, according to monday’s CRM setup article.
  5. Data migration: sources, record counts, de-duplication rule, what happens to attachments and notes. The CRM import tool accepts files under 50 columns, 8,000 rows and 10 MB, so larger sets are split (monday.com support, checked Oct 25, 2026); the mechanics are in how to import a CSV into monday.com.
  6. Integrations, with the system of record named for each field. Gmail is the usual first one.
  7. Permissions, including guest access if clients or contractors will see a board.
  8. Training sessions, who attends and how many.
  9. Documentation your own admin can maintain, and a hypercare window with an end date.

Write out of the scope, or price separately:

  • Custom code, private apps and API work.
  • Cleaning your source data, unless you buy that as a line item.
  • Third-party app subscriptions and connector fees.
  • Licences, which monday.com bills to you.
  • A monthly retainer after hypercare.
  • Re-work caused by a process change after sign-off.

If a quote is silent on any item above, ask. The silence usually means “not included.”

What does monday CRM implementation cost: monday’s packages or an agency?

monday.com publishes fixed prices for its own packages, and agencies publish bands that overlap them from below. The comparison is useful only with the scope beside it.

Option USD Scope signal
monday.com Essential $10,500 Up to 8 weeks, 1 basic use case, up to 5 boards, 1 team, up to 50 users, 1 dashboard
monday.com Advanced $21,000 Up to 12 weeks, up to 2 basic or 1 advanced use case, up to 10 boards, 2 teams, up to 250 users
monday.com Premier $31,500 Up to 16 weeks, up to 5 basic or 2 advanced use cases, up to 20 boards, 3 teams, up to 500 users, governance workshop
Agency band, small $2k to $5k One team, one pipeline, light automation
Agency band, mid-market $10k to $15.5k Several boards, handoff automation, integrations, a migration
Agency band, enterprise $25k and up Multiple departments, custom roles, API work, staged rollout

Two things the numbers do not say. First, the cheapest package is not the same size of job as the small agency band: monday’s Essential covers up to 5 boards and 50 users over up to 8 weeks, while a $2k to $5k agency build is usually one pipeline for a handful of people. Second, monday.com’s packages exclude custom migrations and custom integrations, so a team moving from another CRM may pay a package plus a migration quote. aibrevo quotes monday builds per project after a 30 minute call and publishes no monday price; the only prices we publish are for GoHighLevel on our pricing page.

How much will monday CRM licences add to the implementation cost?

Licences are a recurring line that sits on top of any implementation fee, and they depend on the plan the design needs. monday CRM lists $12, $17 and $28 per seat per month on Basic, Standard and Pro billed yearly, or $18, $25 and $41 billed monthly, with plans starting from 3 users and a quote required above 40 (monday.com CRM pricing, checked Oct 25, 2026).

Seats Basic, yearly billing Standard, yearly billing Pro, yearly billing
5 $60 a month, $720 a year $85 a month, $1,020 a year $140 a month, $1,680 a year
10 $120 a month, $1,440 a year $170 a month, $2,040 a year $280 a month, $3,360 a year
25 $300 a month, $3,600 a year $425 a month, $5,100 a year $700 a month, $8,400 a year

Illustrative arithmetic: list price per seat times seats times twelve, before tax, with no discounts. Source of the unit prices: monday.com CRM pricing page, checked Oct 25, 2026. For your exact count use the monday CRM pricing calculator.

The plan shapes the build as well as the bill. The limits that shape a design are in our monday CRM plan limits page: Basic lists 5 columns per board and no automations, Standard 15 columns and 250 automations a month, Pro 75 columns and 25,000 automations. A handoff-heavy build is therefore unlikely to fit Basic. An illustrative first year for a 10-person team that needs Pro: a $5,000 small-band build plus $3,360 in licences is $8,360, and monday’s $10,500 Essential package plus the same licences is $13,860. Neither figure includes tax, add-ons or a support retainer.

What makes a monday CRM implementation cost more?

Four things move a quote: how many handoffs you automate, how much data you migrate, how many integrations you need and how many teams share the account. The number of boards matters far less than how they connect.

Cost driver Why it adds cost How to keep it down
Cross-board handoffs Each one needs rules for duplicates, ownership and failure Automate the two or three that hurt most first
Migration volume and quality Mapping, de-duplication, attachments and relationships take human time Clean and archive before you hand data over
Integrations Each tool adds authentication, field mapping and testing Name one system of record per field
Number of teams More permissions, more training, more disagreement about statuses Roll out one team at a time
Custom reporting or code Beyond native dashboards, work becomes development Use native dashboards until they stop answering your questions
Plan upgrades forced by the design More than 15 fields or more than 250 actions a month moves you to Pro Estimate columns and monthly actions before choosing a plan
Late scope change Re-work after sign-off is billed as new work Freeze the status vocabulary before build starts

Source: aibrevo scope experience on monday.com builds, Oct 25, 2026. Plan thresholds from the monday.com CRM pricing page, checked Oct 25, 2026. Keep one number in mind when you compare quotes: the lowest quote is usually the one with the longest exclusion list.

What should a UK business know before buying monday CRM implementation?

Ask for a quote in pounds and state whether VAT is included. monday.com lists its own packages in several currencies: the pounds column on its implementation page reads £9,150 for Essential, £18,300 for Advanced and £27,450 for Premier, against $10,500, $21,000 and $31,500 in US dollars (checked Oct 25, 2026). The standard UK VAT rate is 20% (GOV.UK, checked Oct 25, 2026), so a VAT-registered buyer should confirm whether a quoted fee is ex-VAT, because it changes the comparison between providers.

monday.com’s partner programme names the UK and Ireland among its “Tier 1” regions, where Gold and Platinum status can be reached through professional services delivery (monday.com partner programme guide, checked Oct 25, 2026). That means UK implementation partners exist at the higher tiers, and the partner directory lets you read each one’s listed countries and languages. We found no published UK-specific market price band, so we do not quote one. For checking a UK provider, use how to find a monday.com certified partner and the credential questions on the expert page.

What should an Australian business know before buying monday CRM implementation?

Ask for a quote in Australian dollars and confirm whether GST is included. monday.com’s implementation page lists AUD prices of $14,400 for Essential, $28,800 for Advanced and $43,200 for Premier (checked Oct 25, 2026; the page labels the currency tab “AUS”). Those are monday’s own local list prices, not conversions you should assume apply to a partner’s quote.

Australia and New Zealand sit in the same “Tier 1” partner region group as the UK and North America in monday’s partner programme guide, so higher-tier partners can be reached through professional services delivery there too. Filter the partner directory for your country and language. We have not verified Australian GST rules for this page, so confirm tax treatment with your accountant, and we found no published Australian market price band for monday CRM builds.

Should I buy monday’s package, hire an agency or do it myself?

Buy monday’s package when you want vendor-delivered configuration for a defined use case and your needs fit the board and team caps. Hire an agency or specialist when you need migration, integrations or a cross-team design that the package excludes. Do it yourself when the build is one pipeline.

Situation Best fit Why
One pipeline, under about 5 users, no migration Do it yourself with the setup steps Few moving parts, cheap to redo
One team, one clear use case, within 5 boards and 50 users monday’s Essential package, or a small agency build The package scope matches
Sales hands off to onboarding or delivery Agency or specialist Cross-board logic is the risk
Moving from Pipedrive, HubSpot, Airtable or spreadsheets Agency with a migration line item monday’s packages exclude custom migrations
Several teams, governance needs Premier or an agency, scoped by team Permissions and rollout order need a plan
Still choosing between tools Compare first See monday vs Pipedrive and HubSpot vs monday

Source: aibrevo, Oct 25, 2026. Before you buy anything, confirm you are buying the right product: monday CRM and monday work management are separate products with separate plans and separate implementation packages (monday.com says to buy one package per product). If you only need task tracking, the free plan of work management has limits worth reading first. For the wider market context, our monday.com statistics page collects the figures and their sources.

Ready to scope a monday CRM build? Start with the monday.com implementation service, send a message with your team size, current tools and what should happen when a deal closes, or book a 30 minute call. You get scoping questions back before any quote, and a written scope with exclusions after the call.

How does aibrevo scope monday CRM implementation?

aibrevo builds monday.com CRM with its in-house engineering team, which is led by CTO Shivam and works across Salesforce, HubSpot, Dynamics 365, Zoho, Pipedrive, monday.com and Airtable. Each project is quoted after a 30 minute call, and the quote names the builder, the boards and automations in scope, the migration, the exclusions and the handoff. We say when monday CRM is the wrong tool, for instance when you need a simple pipeline and nothing more.

We do not claim a monday.com partner tier on this page. Ask any provider, including us, for the named builder and credentials, and check the claim in the directory as described on the partner finder page.

Founder’s note, Alpit Patel. A quote for “monday CRM setup” can mean a template upload or a rebuilt sales process, and the price gap between them is the whole story. I’d ask every provider for the exclusions list first and compare that before the price. I founded aibrevo in San Francisco in 2021, and through autoesta I have overseen 320+ GoHighLevel implementation projects across med spas, real estate, healthcare, dental, home services, SaaS and professional-services clients in the US, UK and UAE. FAQs

What do monday.com implementation services include?

A full engagement covers discovery, a data model, board and automation build, data migration, integrations, dashboards, testing, training and a documented handoff. monday.com's own packages list use case and process mapping, solution build, dashboards, champion enablement, change management, team training and documentation, and exclude custom migrations, custom integrations and app development.

How much do monday.com implementation services cost?

monday.com sells fixed packages at $10,500, $21,000 and $31,500 in USD. Published agency pages put a small monday CRM build at $2k to $5k, mid-market at $10k to $15.5k and enterprise at $25k or more (median, checked Oct 2026). aibrevo quotes per project after a 30 minute call and publishes no monday price.

How long does a monday.com CRM implementation take?

monday.com's packages run up to 8, 12 or 16 weeks depending on tier. A single-team CRM build usually finishes in about two weeks, and a cross-team system with a migration runs six to eight. The calendar is set by how fast you answer questions, clean data and sign off, more than by build hours.

Is monday.com implementation included in the licence price?

No. Licences are billed by monday.com per seat and implementation is a separate service, whether you buy monday's package or hire a partner. monday CRM lists $12, $17 and $28 per seat per month on Basic, Standard and Pro billed yearly, with plans starting at 3 users.

Do I need a monday.com implementation consultant or can I do it myself?

You can do it yourself for one pipeline, a few users and no migration, using the steps in the setup guide. Hire help when sales hands off to onboarding or delivery, when you migrate data from another tool, when you need more than 15 fields per board, or when several teams will share the account.

How do I hire a monday.com consultant in the UK or Australia?

Use monday.com's partner directory and ask for a quote in your own currency, stating whether VAT or GST is included. monday.com prices its own packages in pounds and Australian dollars as well as US dollars. Then run the same checks on the named builder that you would run anywhere.

What is not covered by a monday CRM implementation quote?

Usually the licences, third-party app fees, your own data cleaning, a support retainer after go-live and any custom code. Ask for exclusions in writing, because a quote that lists no exclusions has not been scoped.
