Is monday.com Down? How to Check, and What to Do When It Is Not Loading

Quick answer

Check status.monday.com first: it lists each component by region (US, EU, AUS, IL) and you can subscribe by email, text, RSS, Slack or webhook. If it shows everything operational and monday.com still will not load, the cause is usually your browser, an extension, your network, the account URL you log in to, or an automation waiting on its action limit.

Key takeaways

  • Start at status.monday.com. On October 17, 2026 it showed every component operational in all four regions (US, EU, AUS, IL), and the last incident on its history was October 14, 2026: a 47 minute AI degradation.
  • The status page splits each region into components: Platform, Dashboards, Login / SSO, Notifications, Search, Automations, Integrations, API, Apps, Files, Billing, Emails & Activities and Ai Functionality. Check the component and region your account uses.
  • You can subscribe to incidents by email, text message, RSS or Atom feed, Slack or webhook from the page. monday's own security FAQ mentions only email and text, so the page is the newer source.
  • monday's own board-will-not-load steps are: open an incognito window, restart the computer, then chat with support. Supported browsers are the latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, and monday recommends at least 5 Mbps download speed.
  • A green status page does not rule out a problem. Wrong account URL, a deactivated user, a lost 2FA phone, a disabled automation and an API limit never appear on it.

Check status.monday.com first. If it shows an incident on the component and region your account uses, monday.com is degraded and you wait. If it shows every component operational, the problem is more likely your browser, an extension, your network, the account you are signing in to, or an automation or API limit. The tables below sort these by symptom.

Checked on October 17, 2026. We opened monday’s status page and its incident history, and five monday support articles: supported browsers, board or item will not load, initial troubleshooting, “I can’t log in to my account,” and reporting issues. Where monday does not document something, we say so.

Is monday.com down right now?

Open the status page. On October 17, 2026 it read “All Systems Operational” and every component showed Operational. Each of the four regions (US, EU, AUS and IL) has its own list, so check the region your account is hosted in.

Source: status.monday.com component list, read October 17, 2026. The US region also lists a separate Communication component. Some regions order or omit a component (the US list shows Notifications; the EU list places it near the end).

Below the components, the page shows past incidents. These are the most recent ones on the page’s incident history when we read it:

Date (2026) Impact label What failed Duration
Oct 14 minor AI operations (service degradation for some models) 47 minutes
Sep 17 minor Search, partial UI functionality, all four regions 1 hour 55 minutes
Sep 17 major Automations and integrations, EU 32 minutes
Jul 23 minor Automations and workflows, degraded performance, all four regions 1 hour 6 minutes
Jul 13 major Platform latency, Platform and Dashboards in US, EU, AUS 2 hours 57 minutes
Jul 6 major Connectivity issues across accounts and devices, US 1 hour 52 minutes
Jun 22 minor Connectivity issues across accounts and devices, all three main regions 5 hours 44 minutes

Two things stand out. Incidents are usually limited to one component, so “is monday.com down” often has a partial answer: Automations can lag while boards load fine. And the page also posts scheduled maintenance. For example, it announced a maintenance window on automations and integrations in the EU region on October 11, 2026 at 06:00 UTC, expected to last up to 10 minutes, with a note that “automation and integration runs may experience a slight delay.”

Can I get monday.com outage alerts?

Yes. The status page has a Subscribe to updates control with tabs for email, text message, RSS and Atom feeds (the page links /history.rss and /history.atom), Slack, webhook and X. It runs on Atlassian Statuspage. monday’s Security and privacy FAQ, last modified September 17, 2026, says you can subscribe by “email or text messages,” so the page now offers more than that article lists. If your sales team lives in monday CRM, subscribe a shared channel or inbox, not one person.

Why is monday.com not loading? Symptom, cause and fix

Work down the table and stop at the first row that matches. The browser and network rows come straight from monday’s troubleshooting articles.

Symptom Likely cause How to confirm Fix
Status page shows an incident on your component and region Platform incident Component marked degraded with a start time Wait. Subscribe to updates. Contact support only if the page shows no incident and the problem persists
A board or item will not load in the browser Cookies, cache or an extension It loads in an incognito window (Ctrl-Shift-N in Chrome and Edge on Windows, Ctrl-Shift-P in Firefox) Clear cache or disable extensions, then restart the computer. monday’s steps stop there and then point to chat

What about “error loading board” and “failed to load workspaces”?

monday’s help pages that we opened do not document either phrase as an error code, and they do not list the wording “We have some issues to get the data, please try again,” which users have quoted on r/mondaydotcom. Treat all three as symptoms of the same family: the app could not fetch your data. The documented checks are the same ones in the table: the status page, an incognito window, disabled extensions, another browser, a restart, then chat. Two more checks from monday’s initial troubleshooting article help when only some boards fail: check whether the issue is isolated to one board or one item, and whether duplicating it clears the behavior.

To confirm the fix worked, reload the board in a normal window and open three items. If the same board fails in incognito, on another browser and on a colleague’s machine, it is not your setup. Report it with the board ID.

Does monday document which domains to allow through a firewall or VPN?

Not in the articles we opened. monday’s troubleshooting guides cover incognito, extensions, speed, browser version and restart, and none lists domains to allow. If your company firewall or VPN blocks monday.com, ask your IT team to test from a network outside the firewall first. If that works, take the finding to monday support and ask for the current list in writing.

Why is my monday.com login not working?

Most login failures are about which account you are signing in to, not an outage. monday’s help article “I can’t log in to my account” lists five causes: multiple accounts or account URLs, the wrong email address, a forgotten password, a deactivated user or account, and no access to your phone when two-factor authentication is on.

What you see Cause Fix
Right email and password, still refused Signing in to the wrong account URL Check the address bar. Open the sign-in link from your invitation email. Click Login to another account if your browser keeps redirecting
Email not recognized Different email address used at sign-up Try other addresses that forward to your inbox
Password rejected Forgotten password Click Forgot your password? and follow the reset prompts
Red banner: “User is inactive. Please contact your account admin.” User or account deactivated or closed Ask any admin to reactivate you or reopen the account
Stuck at the 2FA step No access to your phone Ask an admin: profile picture > Administration > Users > three-dot menu on your row > Reset Two-Factor Authentication. You set up 2FA again at your next login

Single sign-on adds one more angle. monday’s security FAQ says Google SSO is for Pro and Enterprise plans, and Okta, OneLogin, Azure AD and custom SAML 2.0 are for Enterprise plans only. If your company uses SSO and the standard sign-in page loops, ask your IT admin whether your identity provider has changed. Also check the Login / SSO component on the status page.

Why are my monday.com automations or integrations not working?

Check whether the platform is delayed, then whether you hit your action limit, then rebuild. The status page has separate Automations and Integrations components, and it announces scheduled maintenance that can delay runs. For the recipe-level causes, such as cross-board column types that do not map and notification actions that cost one action per recipient, read monday CRM automation recipes, which has a section on automations that stop working. We do not repeat it here.

monday’s initial troubleshooting article classes these as automation issues:

  1. You cannot set up an automation and see a red banner telling you to contact support.
  2. The automation fails to run, or runs the wrong action, though it is not disabled.
  3. The automation disables itself and you have not exceeded your plan’s action limit.

monday’s first suggested fix is to rebuild the automation. For integrations, it also suggests rebuilding, then re-entering credentials by going through setup as if for the first time and choosing Use another account to re-authenticate. To confirm either worked, trigger a test item and watch the automation activity log for a fresh entry.

What if the failure is an API or integration error?

If a Zapier scenario, a script or another tool talks to monday through the API, check the API component on the status page, then the limits. Daily call counts, complexity budgets and per-minute limits are covered in how many API calls monday.com allows per day. For how monday compares with seven other CRMs on this, see CRM API rate limits compared. A job that stops partway usually hit a limit, not an outage.

What about forms, filters, exports and notifications?

monday’s help pages we opened do not give a dedicated fix for each of these, and the status page has no Forms or Filters component. Notifications, Search and Apps do have components, so check those. For everything else, use the isolation steps: incognito, extensions, another browser, a new test item. If an export to Excel fails, our guide on exporting monday.com to Excel covers the workarounds.

When is a slow or missing result not an outage?

When the platform accepted your action and something downstream is holding it. An automation can be waiting on an action limit. An integration can have an expired login. An API job can be rate limited. A Gmail or Outlook sync depends on the mail provider as well as monday. None of these appear on the status page unless there is a platform incident, which is why checking the status page first and the activity log second saves time.

How do I contact monday.com support and what should I include?

Click the ? icon in the top right of monday.com and choose to start a chat, or use monday’s contact page. monday says support is available 24/7. For automation and integration problems its board-load article points to the contact form. monday’s reporting article says reports go to developers who specialize in the affected area.

What monday asks you to include:

For a Include
Board issue What you expected and what happened; exact steps (a screen recording helps); the date and time you first saw it; how many teammates see it; board owner and workspace owner, and whether the board is Shareable, Private or Main; the board ID or item ID; a screenshot of the developer console taken while you repeat the steps
Automation issue The full recipe; the automation ID (turn on developer mode); the item and board IDs; the trigger ID from the automation activity log (fourth column, Copy ID); the date, time and time zone it triggered; the email of the person who triggered it; whether it happens on other boards, whether a rebuild helps, and when it last worked
Integration issue The recipe (a screenshot is best) and whether it came from the Workflows center or a custom automation; the integration ID; item and board IDs; the date, time and time zone

When to bring in help

If monday.com is up and the problem keeps coming back, the cause is usually how the boards and automations were built: cross-board automations, connected boards, action limits and API jobs that were never sized. That is build work, not a bug report. Our monday.com implementation service covers audits and repairs, and the monday CRM guide explains how the pieces fit. You can book a call at cal.com. FAQs

Is monday.com down right now?

Open status.monday.com. It lists components for each region and shows incidents with start and end times. On October 17, 2026 it read All Systems Operational. If it shows no incident for your region, test in an incognito window and on another network before assuming an outage, because most load problems are local.

Why is monday.com not loading?

The usual causes are a cached or extension conflict in your browser, a slow connection, an unsupported or old browser, or a real incident. monday's steps are to try an incognito window, restart your computer, and then chat with support. Check the status page first so you know whether it is you.

How do I fix monday.com error loading board?

Open the board in an incognito window. If it loads there, clear your cache or disable extensions. If it fails everywhere, duplicate the board or test a new item to see whether one board is the problem, restart your computer, and then contact support with the board ID and a screenshot of the developer console.

Why is my monday.com login not working?

monday lists five causes: more than one account URL, the wrong email, a forgotten password, a deactivated user or account, and no access to your phone when two-factor authentication is on. Check the URL you are signing in to first. An admin can reset your 2FA or reactivate your user.

Why are my monday.com automations not working?

Check the automation activity log and your plan's monthly action limit first, then rebuild the automation, which monday names as a common first fix. The status page has an Automations component, so check it for delays. If an integration fails, re-enter its credentials and choose Use another account to re-authenticate.

Why are my monday.com notifications not working?

The status page has a Notifications component in each region, so check it first. monday's help pages we reviewed do not list a single fix for missing notifications. Test in an incognito window, confirm the item is assigned to you or you are subscribed, and report it to support with the time and the item ID if it persists.

How do I get monday.com outage alerts?

On status.monday.com choose Subscribe to updates. The page offers email, text message, RSS and Atom feeds, Slack and webhook options. It runs on Atlassian Statuspage. Use a shared inbox or a channel rather than one person's email, so the alert reaches whoever is on call.

How do I contact monday.com support when something is down?

Click the question mark in the top right of monday.com and choose to start a chat, or use the contact page at monday.com/helpcenter/contact-support. monday says support is available 24/7. Include what you expected, the exact steps, the time you first saw it, how many people are affected, and the relevant IDs.
