Does GoHighLevel Integrate With Zoom? Meeting Links, Setup and Limits
Quick answer
Yes. GoHighLevel connects to Zoom natively, per user, and gives every booking on a Personal, Round Robin, Service or Collective calendar its own Zoom link. A free Zoom account works. Recordings don't sync back, and registering attendees in Zoom Webinars needs Zapier or Make.
Part of the guide: GoHighLevel automation
Key takeaways
- Connect Zoom per user under Settings > My Profile > Calendar > Video Conferencing, then set the calendar's meeting location to Zoom (HighLevel article modified February 10, 2026).
- Each booking on Personal, Round Robin, Service and Collective calendars gets its own Zoom link. A free Zoom account is enough.
- Missing links usually mean the location isn't set to Zoom, or the confirmation template lacks the {{appointment.location}} field.
- One conferencing platform is active per user or calendar at a time: Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams.
- Zoom recordings don't sync into GoHighLevel, and registering attendees directly in Zoom Webinars isn't native; use Zapier or Make for both.
Yes. Zoom is a native GoHighLevel integration. Each user connects their own Zoom account, and once a calendar’s meeting location is set to Zoom, every booking gets its own Zoom link automatically. It works on Personal, Round Robin, Service and Collective calendars, and a free Zoom account is enough. Two things it doesn’t do: sync Zoom recordings back into GoHighLevel, or register attendees directly in Zoom Webinars.

How do you connect Zoom to GoHighLevel?
From HighLevel’s Zoom integration article:
- Each user goes to Settings > My Profile > Calendar > Video Conferencing, clicks Add New and connects Zoom. (Admins can also start from Calendar Settings > Connections > Video Conferencing.)
- Open the calendar, set its meeting location to Zoom and save.
- Make sure the confirmation and reminder templates include {{appointment.location}}. That’s where the Zoom link appears.
- Book a test appointment and check the link in the confirmation email or text, and in the appointment itself.
On a Round Robin calendar, each booking uses the assigned team member’s Zoom, so every person on the rotation has to connect their own account. The calendar setup guide covers calendar types and reminders.
Why is the Zoom link missing?
| Symptom | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No link in the confirmation | Template doesn’t include {{appointment.location}} | Add the custom value to confirmation and reminder templates |
| No link on the appointment | Calendar location isn’t set to Zoom | Set the meeting location to Zoom in the calendar settings |
| Some Round Robin bookings lack links | That team member hasn’t connected Zoom | Have every user on the rotation connect their own Zoom |
| Links stopped after a password or account change | Zoom connection dropped | Reconnect; HighLevel then creates links for bookings made while disconnected |
| A Teams or Meet link appears instead | Another platform is active for that user or calendar | Only one platform can be active; switch it to Zoom |
If the confirmation itself never sends, the problem is the workflow, not Zoom; our workflow troubleshooting guide covers that.
Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams?
| Zoom | Microsoft Teams | Google Meet | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Connection | Per user, Zoom account | Per user per location, work or school account | Comes with a connected Google Calendar |
| Account needed | Free Zoom works | Personal Teams accounts not supported | Google account |
| Calendar types | Personal, Round Robin, Service, Collective | Personal, Round Robin, Collective, Service | Depends on the Google Calendar connection |
| Unique link per booking | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Zoom and Teams details from HighLevel’s Zoom and Teams articles. HighLevel doesn’t have a dedicated Google Meet article, so confirm Meet behavior in your account.
Pick the platform your clients already use. Microsoft 365 teams should read does GoHighLevel work with Outlook, which covers Teams links and the admin approval prompt.
What about recordings and webinars?
Recordings stay in Zoom. HighLevel’s Zoom article describes meeting links only, with no recording sync. To get recordings or AI meeting notes onto the contact record, connect Zoom to GoHighLevel through Zapier or Make, or use a meeting-notes tool that writes to GoHighLevel. The Zapier vs native integrations guide explains when that’s worth it.
Webinars: HighLevel’s webinar article (modified May 11, 2026) lets a webinar run on Zoom, YouTube Live, WebinarJam or a custom link, with automated replay delivery. Registering attendees directly in Zoom Webinars isn’t native: a request for it posted in January 2023 had 533 votes and no status when we checked. The usual fix is a Zapier or Make step that registers each GoHighLevel sign-up in Zoom and returns their unique join link.
