monday.com reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $364.6 million on August 10, 2026, up 22% from a year earlier, with record non-GAAP operating income. Three weeks earlier, on July 22, it had announced a restructuring that cuts about 20% of its workforce. No products were discontinued. For teams running monday CRM, nothing changes on day one, but there are three things worth checking before your next renewal.
What monday.com announced
July 22, 2026: restructuring. In a Form 6-K filed with the SEC, monday.com said it would reduce its workforce by about 20%, mostly in roles that do not face customers. It expects $45 million to $55 million in net charges, substantially complete by the end of 2026, and raised its 2026 non-GAAP operating margin target to about 15% while leaving revenue guidance unchanged. monday.com had 3,155 employees at the end of 2025; TechCrunch reported the cut at about 630 people.

What it means if you run monday CRM
1. monday CRM is not going away. The filings name no discontinued products. monday.com’s May 2026 announcement keeps work management, CRM, service and dev as products on one shared AI layer, and monday CRM passed $100 million in ARR in 2025. “Sharpen the portfolio” more likely means fewer side projects and features than dropping a product of that size.
2. AI now costs credits. monday.com’s Q1 2026 release described a seats-plus-credits pricing model. AI features such as agents and the notetaker draw on a monthly credit allowance that varies by plan. A team that adds CRM agents for lead research or meeting prep can see its bill change without any change to the seat price. Before turning on AI features across a sales team, check how many credits your plan includes and what extra credits cost on your account.
3. Expect more attention on plan upgrades. Revenue growth is slowing (27% in 2025, 19% to 20% guided for 2026) while large accounts grow fastest. Vendors in that position usually focus on expansion: more seats, higher tiers, add-ons. That is not a problem in itself, but go into a renewal knowing which features you use. Remember that a monday.com plan applies to every seat in the product, so upgrading for two power users upgrades everyone. The monday CRM pricing calculator shows the cost of each tier for your seat bucket.
Support. monday.com said the cuts were mostly in non-customer-facing roles. If you notice slower support responses during the restructuring, which runs to the end of 2026, a partner or in-house admin who knows your account becomes more valuable.
What to do now
- Note your renewal date and current plan, seat bucket and automation usage.
- If you use or plan to use AI features, check your monthly credit allowance in the admin billing section.
- Watch the Elevate 2026 conference on October 28 to 29 in New York, where monday.com usually announces product changes, including for CRM.
