Med Spa A2P 10DLC Rejection Reasons: Codes, Causes and Fixes
The med spa A2P 10DLC rejection reasons you will meet most come down to eight: prescription-product wording (30941), marketing and reminder consent mixed together (30913), consent buried in intake terms (30923), a pre-checked box (30925), consent no reviewer can see (30909), a form-only website (30920), copy-pasted fields (30911) or a name mismatch (30918). Each one has a fix in GoHighLevel.
Part of the guide: GoHighLevel A2P registration for med spas
Key takeaways
- HighLevel documents each rejection with an error code, a category, what it means and the correction needed, under Trust Center, Brands & Campaigns, Campaigns tab, View required fixes. Fix every listed reason before resubmitting, because a campaign can have more than one.
- Code 30941 (prescription drugs or controlled substances) is listed as ineligible for resubmission. For a med spa it is the one to design out before you submit: no injectable or medication names in the description, samples or opt-in text.
- Four consent codes cover most med spa rejections: 30913 (marketing consent not separate), 30923 (consent bundled into mandatory terms), 30924 (missing disclosures) and 30925 (no checkbox, or pre-checked).
- HighLevel says the campaign use case and opt-in message may not be editable at resubmission. If either is the problem, you may need to create a new campaign, not edit the rejected one.
- A campaign in Pending status should be left alone: HighLevel says not to resubmit or create another campaign while review is in progress.
The problem this page solves: your med spa’s A2P 10DLC campaign came back Rejected in GoHighLevel and you need to know which rejection code applies to a med spa, what actually caused it, and what to change. It covers the med spa A2P 10DLC rejection reasons behind the codes spas meet most, using the wording HighLevel publishes. For the full generic list of causes, see why GoHighLevel A2P 10DLC registrations get rejected; for the whole med spa registration, see GoHighLevel A2P registration for med spas, part of our GoHighLevel setup for med spas guide.
Checked on 2026-10-15 against HighLevel’s rejection article. HighLevel says granular codes replaced older general codes (30882, 30883, 30884, 30885, 30897) from March 23, 2026, so an older rejection may still show a legacy code.
Where do I find my med spa’s A2P 10DLC rejection reasons?
HighLevel shows the reason on the campaign itself. Go to Settings > Phone System > Trust Center, open Brands & Campaigns, select the Campaigns tab, find the campaign marked Rejected and click View required fixes next to each reason. The modal gives four fields: Error code, Rejection category, What it means and Correction needed.
Do three things before you edit anything:
- Click View required fixes for every listed reason. HighLevel warns a campaign may have more than one and says all must be fixed or you will likely be rejected again.
- Check the status table below, because the right action depends on it.
- Review the whole campaign (description, use case, samples, website, opt-in flow, Privacy Policy and Terms), not only the flagged field.
| Campaign status | What HighLevel says to do |
|---|---|
| Pending | Wait. Do not resubmit or create another campaign while review is in progress |
| Rejected, correctable code | Fix every listed issue, review the whole campaign, resubmit |
| Rejected, field cannot be edited | Fix the cause and create a new campaign if necessary (use case and opt-in message may not be editable) |
| Rejected for forbidden or high-risk content | Do not resubmit the same campaign; review the messaging restrictions |
| Approved but SMS not working | Check the number is linked and shows A2P Verified; troubleshoot the SMS error separately |

Why was my med spa rejected for prescription drug content (30941)?
What HighLevel shows: code 30941, category “Disallowed”, meaning “Prescription drugs or controlled substances.” HighLevel lists it with the codes that are not eligible for resubmission.
Why med spas hit it: HighLevel’s forbidden-categories article prohibits “promotional messaging for cannabis, CBD, prescription drugs, or other controlled substances” and gives “prescription medication offers” as an example. A med spa’s most requested treatments often rely on prescription products, so the description, a sample promotion or the opt-in text can name one. HighLevel does not name aesthetics, injectables or GLP-1 programs anywhere we read, so we cannot say how a specific message is judged. What is documented is the category and that it cannot simply be resubmitted.
Fix, in order:
- Remove product and drug names from the use case description, every sample message, the opt-in text and the Privacy Policy and Terms you link.
- Reword promotions around the visit (an open house, a consultation, a seasonal event) with no medication or price claim. Our guide to advertising prescription treatments by text and email covers the copy side.
- Because 30941 is not resubmittable, create a new campaign with the corrected text rather than editing the rejected one.
- If you believe the rejection was wrong, appeal. HighLevel says to contact support with the subject line “10DLC Campaign Appeal for [your business name or number]” and include full details.
Confirm it worked: the new campaign moves from Pending to Approved and the sending number shows A2P Verified under Settings > Phone System > Phone Numbers.
Why was my med spa rejected for consent (30913, 30923, 30924, 30925)?
Consent is the largest group for med spas, because the paperwork is long and texting is easily tucked into it.
| Code | Exact meaning from HighLevel | Typical med spa cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30913 | Marketing consent must be collected separately from informational / transactional consent | One box covers reminders and offers | Two boxes: one for appointment texts, one for offers. If you send only reminders, say so in the description |
| 30923 | Messaging consent is bundled into mandatory terms or agreements | Texting folded into the signed intake or treatment consent | Make SMS a separate, optional action; clients must be able to decline and still book |
| 30924 | Consent language is missing required disclosures | Box says “I agree to texts” with nothing else | Add message type, frequency, “message and data rates may apply” and STOP instructions beside the box |
| 30925 | Opt-in form is missing a checkbox, or the checkbox is pre-selected | Booking tool ships with the box pre-ticked | Use an unchecked-by-default box specifically for SMS |
| 30931 | Form mechanics prevent consumers from declining | One Book Now button grants everything including texts | Add a skip option or unchecked box |
| 30932 | Privacy policy indicates opt-in data is shared with third parties for marketing | Policy lists ad platforms and tools as marketing partners | State that mobile information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes |

Steps: (1) Open your live booking form and the paper intake form and look for any place texting is required or pre-ticked. (2) Rebuild the SMS part as one unchecked optional box per message type with the disclosures next to it. (3) Update the opt-in text in the campaign to match the live form word for word. (4) Resubmit. Wording to adapt is in med spa text opt-in language examples, and the legal reason the two boxes differ is in appointment versus marketing text consent.
HighLevel warns the opt-in message may not be editable on resubmission. If your fix changes it, expect to create a new campaign. Judgment: fix the live form and website first and rewrite the campaign text second, so the text you register describes a flow that already exists. A reviewer who opens your site and sees a different flow from the one you described will reject you again.
Why can’t reviewers verify my med spa opt-in (30909, 30917, 30887, 30890)?
30909 means the Call-to-Action / Message Flow cannot be verified. HighLevel’s fix: provide complete CTA information and all methods end users use to consent, and “if behind a login, provide hosted screenshots.”
For a med spa, the opt-in is often inside a booking platform, a client portal or an iPad at the front desk. A reviewer cannot open any of them. Take a screenshot of the SMS consent step as a client sees it (not an admin view), upload it to HighLevel Media Storage and give the shareable link, as HighLevel’s best-practice article describes. The screenshot must show your exact company name, the wording and the disclosures, and the link must not need a sign-in.
Related codes:
- 30917: you picked several opt-in methods but described only some. If clients opt in online, on paper and at the desk, describe each.
- 30887: the opt-out workflow is unclear or the opt-out message is missing. HighLevel’s fix is to describe the process and make the STOP reply acknowledge the request, confirm no more messages and include your brand name.
- 30890: the HELP reply has no brand name, phone number or email. Make the HELP reply say who you are and how to reach you.
Why was my med spa website rejected (30919, 30920, 30921, 30922, 30907, 30908)?
| Code | HighLevel’s meaning | Med spa cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30919 | Not enough business information or messaging disclosure | Site has services but no mention of the SMS program | Add company name, services, contact info, privacy policy and a mention of texting |
| 30920 | Website is just a form | Landing page that is only a booking or consult form | Wrap the form in business context: who you are, what you do, how to contact you |
| 30921 | Website requires a login | Opt-in page sits in a client portal | Publish a public page describing the business and the messaging program |
| 30922 | Does not meet verification requirements | Under construction or non-standard URL | Use a working, standard URL; if pre-launch, say so and add screenshots |
| 30907 | URL does not match the campaign or brand information | Site shows a trade name that is not on the brand record | Align site, brand and campaign |
| 30908 | Compliant privacy policy not provided or not found | Policy not linked from the opt-in flow | Link the policy directly in the message flow |

Check that the site shows your registered business name or declared DBA wherever it appears, in the footer, on the form and in the Privacy Policy.
Which identity codes affect med spas (30918, 30927, 30971, 30903, 30915, 30926, 30898)?
- 30918, DBA name does not match the legal name on file. The med spa trades as “Glow Aesthetics” but the EIN record says “Glow Wellness Group LLC.” Add the DBA to the brand registration and put “We are doing DBA as [Business_Name]” in the use case, per HighLevel’s guide.
- 30927, opt-in evidence shows a different company. Screenshots from a booking platform branded with the software vendor’s name, or a parent group’s name, fail. Show your registered company name.
- 30971, contact email uses a personal domain. An owner registering with a Gmail address is a common cause. HighLevel’s fix is a business domain email. Code 30881 is the same issue for the brand support email.
- 30903 and 30915, sole proprietor mismatch. A solo injector or esthetician registered as a Sole Proprietor while using an LLC name, or who has a Tax ID, is told to re-register as a Standard brand with the EIN.
- 30926, campaign references multiple brands. A group with several spa names in one campaign needs separate campaigns, one per brand.
- 30898, same EIN used for multiple brands. HighLevel says to register the minimum number of brands per EIN. It also says one EIN can register up to 10 brands, so plan locations before creating brands.
If you see the error “Maximum 3 tries exhausted” on the brand, HighLevel says attempts failed on mismatched or invalid business details; support asks for your CP 575 letter (or an IRS 147c letter) and the legal name must match exactly, including every line above the address on that letter.
Which use case and sample-message codes affect med spas (30911, 30916, 30912, 30893, 30892, 30886)?
| Code | HighLevel’s meaning | Med spa cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30911 | Same text copied across fields, or all samples identical | Description, flow and samples pasted from one template | Write each field separately; make each sample distinct |
| 30916 | Selected lead generation but described lead nurture (or the reverse) | “New inquiry follow-up” registered as the wrong type | Pick the one that matches: initial outreach vs ongoing engagement |
| 30912 | Use case looks like personal / P2P messaging | Owner texting clients from a number that reads like a personal phone | Describe the platform that triggers the messages and how it serves clients |
| 30886 | Description does not explain the campaign’s purpose or match the use case | Description says “client updates” | Use the five-question pattern: who sends, who receives, what, why, how they opt in |
| 30893 | Samples missing, unclear or not matching the use case | A reminder campaign with promotional samples | Sample 1 promotional, Sample 2 informational; brackets for variables; business name and opt-out language in at least one |
| 30892 | Samples include a public URL shortener or unsecured URL | Shortened booking links | Use full HTTPS links to your own domain |
Source: HighLevel help center, checked 2026-10-15. Code 30963 (public URL shorteners) and 30964 (HTTP links) are listed by HighLevel in the high-risk group, which is not eligible for resubmission.
The most important med spa pattern here is a mismatch between the registered use case and the samples. A campaign registered for appointment reminders whose samples read like offers is the example HighLevel’s own guidance warns about. See sample wording in GoHighLevel A2P registration for med spas.
Which rejections can’t be fixed by resubmitting?
HighLevel’s Part 2 lists the ineligible groups: SHAFT content (30953 to 30958), disallowed content (30940 to 30952, including 30941 prescription drugs and 30945 sweepstakes or contests) and high-risk content (30959 to 30964, including 30962 deceptive marketing such as false urgency, bait-and-switch or fake endorsements). For a med spa, the two to watch are 30941 and 30962. A giveaway or contest mechanic in a promotion (30945) is also a trap for spas running referral drawings. For these, HighLevel says not to resubmit the same campaign. Fix the content, create a new campaign and, if you think the call was wrong, appeal through support.
How do I fix and resubmit, step by step?
- Open Settings > Phone System > Trust Center > Brands & Campaigns > Campaigns and click View required fixes for every reason.
- Sort the reasons by status: correctable, field-locked (new campaign needed) or ineligible.
- Change the live assets first: the form, the website page, the Privacy Policy, the samples.
- Update the campaign fields to match the live assets exactly, with a unique description, flow and samples.
- Review the whole campaign once more for consistency, then resubmit or create the new campaign.
- Wait. Do not resubmit while it is Pending.
- After approval, confirm the green A2P Verified label on the number and send a test text.
HighLevel’s fee article says no additional Campaign Vetting Fee is charged for each resubmission; a new campaign created because a field could not be edited is a different case, and the article says an additional campaign costs $15. Confirm the current fee in the Trust Center. Timing is covered in how long A2P approval takes, and texts that fail after approval are in the SMS error code guide.
When should a med spa get an expert to look?
Get help when a second submission fails for the same reason, when you hold the same codes after fixing them, when you are on 30941 or 30962, when several brands or locations share one EIN, or when consent lives in several systems. A reviewer-eyes check of the form, site and samples usually finds what the code text does not. aibrevo’s GoHighLevel service covers A2P registration inside a build, and you can send a message with your rejection codes. This page is not legal advice; have counsel review consent wording.
Founder’s note, Alpit Patel. I see the same rejection codes come back again and again. Read the exact code under View required fixes in the Trust Center before you edit anything. The code decides whether you can resubmit at all. Codes 30941 and 30962 cannot be resubmitted, so take prescription product names and false-urgency language out of every field before the first submission. If the same reason comes back after a fix, get a second review. I founded aibrevo in San Francisco in 2021, and through autoesta I have overseen 320+ GoHighLevel implementation projects across med spas, real estate, healthcare, dental, home services, SaaS and professional-services clients in the US, UK and UAE.
