Why Is My GoHighLevel Login Not Working? URLs, 2FA, Reset, Lockouts

Quick answer

Start at app.gohighlevel.com unless your agency gave you a white-label domain, then match your symptom: no 2FA code, reset email missing, a browser or network block, a billing lock, or a sub-account user who logs in and sees nothing. Each cause below has HighLevel's exact error text and the fix.

Part of the guide: GoHighLevel problems: find the fix by symptom

Key takeaways

  • Default login is app.gohighlevel.com, which HighLevel's pricing page links as Login to App. If your agency white-labeled the app, you sign in at the agency's own domain, and logging in at the wrong one can return User does not exist in this Agency.
  • If an agency user cannot get the 2FA code, HighLevel's login troubleshooting article says to try signing in with your Google account at app.gohighlevel.com. The email is titled Login Security Code, and a missing SMS code usually means no user phone number is set.
  • Reset a password with Forgot Password? on the login page. HighLevel requires at least 12 characters with upper and lower case, a number and a special character, and single sign-on users reset through their own provider.
  • If billing blocks access, the billing team handles reactivation and billing-related access at billing@gohighlevel.com or by phone, Option 2. HighLevel has no general support email, and only agency admins and agency users can open support.
  • A user who logs in but sees nothing is usually a permissions or assignment problem, fixed by an agency admin in Settings, Users. This page checked October 17, 2026.

Your GoHighLevel login is not working for one of five reasons: you are on the wrong login address, the 2FA code or reset email never arrived, your browser or network is blocking the page, billing has locked the agency account, or you logged in fine but your user cannot see anything. Start at app.gohighlevel.com unless your agency gave you its own domain, then use the table below to match your symptom.

Checked on October 17, 2026. We opened HighLevel’s login troubleshooting article, its password article, its user access article, its white-label domain article, its 24/7 support article and its pricing page. Where a step is general browser advice and not in HighLevel’s documentation, we mark it as general.

If nothing loads at all, check whether GoHighLevel is down first. That page owns outages and status checks, so we do not repeat them here.

What is the GoHighLevel login URL, and which one should I use?

Use app.gohighlevel.com, unless your agency white-labeled the app, in which case use the domain your agency gave you. HighLevel’s pricing page links “Login to App” to app.gohighlevel.com. HighLevel’s domain article says a white-label domain provides “an agency-branded HighLevel application/login URL”, so customers use the agency’s domain instead of the default one.

Who you are Where to log in Notes
Agency owner, admin or agency user app.gohighlevel.com, or your own white-label domain if you set one up The white-label domain is usually a subdomain, and HighLevel says most agencies use “app”
Sub-account (client) user of a white-labeled agency The domain your agency gave you HighLevel says a user “not associated with that agency within the whitelabel domain” gets an error on it
Sub-account user of an agency that did not white-label app.gohighlevel.com Ask your agency to confirm
Mobile app user The LeadConnector app, or your agency’s branded app You need a login from the business or agency. See what is LeadConnector

The white-label domain is set by an agency admin at Agency View > Settings > Company Settings > Whitelabel, per HighLevel’s domain article (modified September 10, 2026). A DNS record for it can take time to propagate, so a newly set up agency domain may not work for everyone straight away. If you are the agency and need to set one up, our white-label guide covers it, and how to connect your domain covers the DNS side.

If you are unsure which address applies, ask your agency admin. They are the only person who can tell you whether the account is white-labeled.

Why is my GoHighLevel login not working? Symptom, cause and fix

Work down the table and stop at the first row that matches. Error texts are quoted from HighLevel’s login troubleshooting article.

Symptom or error Likely cause Fix
“Unable to log you in at this time” Home network protection or security software blocking the login Turn off the ISP’s network protection or the security software’s web protection, then retry. HighLevel names Verizon Fios, CenturyLink, McAfee, xfinity and Spectrum features
“Not able to send the security code at this time” No phone number on your user profile, or the email code is failing Ask an agency admin to add a user phone number. A sole admin contacts HighLevel support
“User does not exist in this Agency” You are on a white-label domain your user is not tied to Use the domain your own agency gave you, or ask the admin to check your user
No error, but the page stays stuck and never redirects Cookies blocked, or a VPN or web-protection tool altering certificates Allow cookies for app.gohighlevel.com. Turn off or uninstall the VPN or web protection and retry
“Web server is returning an Unknown Error” Stale site data in the browser Clear site data for the HighLevel domain, then reload
No 2FA email Filtered, wrong address, or sending issue Check spam for “Login Security Code”, confirm the login email, request one new code
Reset email never arrives Wrong email, or filtered See the reset section below
Logged out of the sub-account, or “no access” after login Permissions or assignment See the permissions section below
Cannot log in because of an unpaid or lapsed plan Billing lock Contact the billing team, see below

To confirm a fix worked, close the tab, open a fresh private window, go to your correct login address and sign in once. If it works there but not in your normal browser, the cause is cached data or an extension.

Why is my GoHighLevel 2FA code not arriving?

The code comes by email or SMS, and each has a different failure. HighLevel’s login troubleshooting article says to try signing in with a Google account at app.gohighlevel.com if you are an agency struggling to receive the 2FA code.

  1. Check the email. HighLevel’s support questions list the email title as “Login Security Code”. Search your inbox and spam for that title, and confirm the address you typed is the login email on your user profile.
  2. Check for SMS. If the error is “Not able to send the security code at this time”, HighLevel says an agency admin must add a user phone number for you so the code can go to your phone.
  3. Try Google sign-in. If your agency login email is a Google account, choose Google sign-in at app.gohighlevel.com.
  4. Request one new code, not many. General advice, not from HighLevel: several rapid requests can leave you matching an old code to a new request.
  5. Check the time on your device. General advice for authenticator-app codes: they depend on a correct clock, so turn on automatic time.
  6. Use another verification method. HighLevel’s user access article says verification methods can include Email OTP, Phone (SMS) OTP and an authenticator app (TOTP), depending on which methods the user has verified.

If you are the only agency admin and cannot receive any code, contact HighLevel support by phone. The article says support can update the user phone number for a sole admin, and callers are validated as agency admins.

How do I reset my GoHighLevel password?

Choose Forgot Password? on the login page and follow the emailed link. HighLevel’s password article (modified August 17, 2026) gives these steps for native sign-in.

  1. Open the HighLevel login page and choose Forgot Password?
  2. Enter the email address on your user profile and submit.
  3. Open the reset email and select the link or button. Wording and branding may differ by agency.
  4. Enter a new password that meets the requirements, then enter it again.
  5. Select Save, return to the login page and sign in.

The password must have at least 12 characters, with uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a special character, and must be unique. Passwords that do not meet this are rejected.

If you are already signed in, you can change it at Settings > My Profile > Change Password. If your organization uses single sign-on, HighLevel says the password may be managed outside HighLevel, so contact your administrator when you are redirected to another provider’s login page or the native option is missing.

If the reset email does not arrive, HighLevel suggests checking spam, junk and promotions, confirming the address on your profile, searching for messages from HighLevel or your agency, waiting a few minutes, and using only the most recent reset email. An agency admin can confirm the login email on your profile.

Why is the GoHighLevel page stuck, blank or showing an error?

When there is no clear error, the cause is usually the browser or the network, and HighLevel’s article lists cookies and security software first. Work through these in order.

  1. Allow cookies for app.gohighlevel.com.
  2. Turn off or uninstall any VPN or web-protection tool. HighLevel’s example is NordVPN: click the lock icon, open Connection is secure, then Certificate is valid, and if it says “Issued by: NordVPN” the tool is blocking the page.
  3. Clear site data for the HighLevel domain. HighLevel’s steps for Chrome are right-click, inspect, open Application, choose Storage, then Clear Site Data. On Safari, enable the developer tools in Settings, Advanced, then clear site data.
  4. Try a private window and a second network such as mobile data. This is general troubleshooting.

If it works on another network, the first network is blocking it. HighLevel says it was working on a longer-term fix for the ISP blocks, and that turning off the protection should not add risk on secure sites.

Why is my GoHighLevel account locked, suspended or billing-blocked?

If you cannot get in because of a billing issue, the billing team is the route. HighLevel’s support article says the billing team can help with payment or invoice questions, subscription changes, account reactivation and billing-related access issues.

Step Detail
Email billing@gohighlevel.com, which creates a support ticket
Phone The support line listed in the article, then choose Option 2 for Billing
Include Agency name, agency login email, Agency Relationship Number if you have it, a short description, and any invoice or payment details
Who can ask Agency admins. HighLevel says agents cannot change an agency account without a validated agency admin or agency user, and callers who are not agency admins will not be served

HighLevel has no general support email address. Email support means opening a ticket. If you cannot log in at all, its article lists the phone line, the chat widget on its main website, and a ticket form as the outside-the-app routes.

Other reasons an account looks locked are separate problems. A suspended email sender is covered in why email sending was suspended, and what happens to your data after you cancel is in what happens to GoHighLevel data when you cancel. We found no HighLevel document that sets a lockout time after repeated wrong passwords, so we do not state one.

Why can I log in to GoHighLevel but not see my sub-account or menus?

Your login works, but your user type, role or assignment does not give you the area you want. HighLevel’s user access article (modified August 3, 2026) says a user is either an Agency user, who can access all client accounts, or an Account user, who can access only the selected accounts.

What you see Cause Fix for the admin
The sub-account is missing from your list An Account user not assigned to it Agency View > Settings > Users, edit the user, and select the account
A menu or tool is hidden The role or permission does not include it Edit the user’s Roles & Permissions
No support button Location users and location admins do not see HighLevel’s blue support button Ask an agency admin to raise the ticket
An agency admin wants to see what the user sees Login As Agency View > Settings > Users > Edit User > Roles & Permissions > User Management, enable Login As

Login As lets an eligible admin sign in as another user. HighLevel says it is permission-gated, and when Enable Login As is off for a user, the option is hidden. It is a quick way to reproduce what the user sees. Leave it off for admins who do not need it. Our user roles and permissions guide lists the permissions and how to lock down the sensitive ones.

HighLevel also says that when you add a user whose email already exists in the agency, it gives guidance, such as adding the existing user from Users.

How do I contact HighLevel support if I cannot log in?

Use the routes outside the app. HighLevel’s 24/7 support article lists the phone line, the website chat widget (tell the agent you cannot log in), and a ticket form. Inside the app, the blue question mark button in the top right is on desktop only, and only agency admins and agency users see it.

Support is not available to location admins or location users, so a sub-account user who cannot log in should message the agency first. For a build or login problem that keeps returning, HighLevel support or an expert explains when an outside builder is the faster fix. The full symptom index is the GoHighLevel troubleshooting hub.

When should you bring in help?

Bring in help when more than one user is locked out, when the white-label domain stopped working after a DNS change, or when the same login problem returns after the fixes above. aibrevo’s GoHighLevel service covers account repair, and you can book a 30-minute call.

FAQs

Why is my GoHighLevel login not working?

Match the symptom. A wrong URL or white-label domain returns User does not exist in this Agency. A missing 2FA code points to the email, the phone number on the profile, or spam. A stuck page points to cookies, a VPN or security software. A billing lock needs the billing team. Check the status page first if nothing loads.

What is the GoHighLevel login URL?

The default is app.gohighlevel.com, linked as Login to App on HighLevel's pricing page. If your agency white-labeled the app, clients and staff sign in at the agency's own domain, often a subdomain such as app on the agency's website. Ask your agency admin which address they set up.

Why am I not getting the GoHighLevel 2FA code?

HighLevel says the email is titled Login Security Code, so check spam first. If the error says it cannot send the security code, an agency admin must add a phone number to your user profile. Agencies unable to receive the code can sign in with a Google account at app.gohighlevel.com.

How do I reset my GoHighLevel password?

On the login page choose Forgot Password?, enter the email on your user profile, open the reset email, set a new password, and save. It must have at least 12 characters with upper and lower case, a number and a special character. If your organization uses single sign-on, reset it with that provider instead.

What is the LeadConnector login?

LeadConnector is HighLevel's neutral name for parts of GoHighLevel, including its mobile app. It is the mobile app for a GoHighLevel account, so you need a login from a business or agency that runs GoHighLevel. If your agency has its own branded app, use that one.

Why does GoHighLevel say User does not exist in this Agency?

HighLevel's troubleshooting article says this appears when you log in through a white-label domain and your user is not associated with that agency. Use the domain your own agency gave you, or ask the agency admin to confirm your user exists and uses the login email you typed.

Why can I log in to GoHighLevel but not see anything?

Usually your user has not been assigned to the sub-account, or the role lacks the permission for that menu. An agency admin fixes this at Agency View, Settings, Users, where the user type decides which accounts you can reach. An Account user sees only the accounts selected for them.

My GoHighLevel account is suspended or locked. Who do I contact?

If a billing issue blocks access, HighLevel's billing team handles reactivation and billing-related access. Email billing@gohighlevel.com, which creates a ticket, or call the support line and choose Option 2. Include your agency name, login email and Agency Relationship Number. Only agency admins can get support.
