Can GoHighLevel Replace Calendly? Feature by Feature, and the One Gap

Quick answer

For most businesses, yes. GoHighLevel's calendars cover personal, round robin, collective, class and service bookings, sync with Google and Outlook, add Zoom or Teams links, take payment at booking and send SMS and email reminders through workflows, all inside the CRM. The main gap is routing forms: Calendly has them natively, GoHighLevel needs a form-and-redirect workaround.

Key takeaways

  • GoHighLevel calendars cover Personal, Round Robin, Collective, Class/Event and Service bookings, with Google and Outlook sync and Zoom or Teams links.
  • Payment at booking works on all calendar types through Stripe, PayPal, Square, Authorize.Net, NMI or Razorpay (HighLevel article modified September 2, 2026).
  • Reminders run as SMS and email workflows, and every booking lands on a contact and opportunity in the CRM.
  • Routing forms are the gap: Calendly has them on its Teams plan; GoHighLevel uses a form with conditional redirects. A request for native routing forms is still open.
  • Calendly lists Standard from $10 and Teams from $16 per seat per month. GoHighLevel's native Calendly integration syncs one way and needs a paid Calendly plan.

For most businesses, yes. GoHighLevel’s calendars cover what most teams use Calendly for: one-on-one, round robin, collective, class and service bookings; Google and Outlook sync; Zoom or Teams links; payment at booking; and SMS and email reminders. Every booking also lands on a contact in the CRM. The one real gap is routing forms, which Calendly has natively and GoHighLevel handles with a form-and-redirect workaround.

What does each cost?

Calendly’s pricing page lists:

Calendly plan Price
Free $0
Standard from $10 per seat per month
Teams from $16 per seat per month
Enterprise from $15,000 a year

Yearly billing saves up to 20%, per Calendly’s pricing page. Notetaker and other AI features are add-ons.

GoHighLevel’s calendars are included in every plan, from $97 a month. A 10-person team on Calendly Teams pays at least $160 a month for scheduling alone, so if you’re already paying for GoHighLevel, moving scheduling in usually saves money. If GoHighLevel would only be replacing Calendly, it’s not a like-for-like price comparison: GoHighLevel is a full CRM.

What about routing forms?

This is the real gap. Calendly’s Teams plan includes lead qualification and routing; GoHighLevel has no native routing form. A request for Calendly-style routing forms on HighLevel’s ideas board has been open since August 2023.

Routing workaround in GoHighLevel A visitor fills in a qualifying form with conditional logic. Based on answers such as company size or service, the form redirects to one of three calendars: an enterprise sales calendar, a small business round robin calendar, or a self-serve demo class. The form submission also tags the contact for the right follow-up workflow. Qualifying form conditional logic 200+ employees 10-200 employees under 10 Enterprise sales personal calendar SMB team round robin Group demo class calendar
An illustrative routing setup: a form with conditional redirects stands in for Calendly's routing form, and the answers also tag the contact for follow-up.

The workaround works well for a handful of routes. If you need routing driven by data already in Salesforce, or dozens of routing rules, Calendly’s routing features are stronger.

Can you keep Calendly and connect it?

You can. HighLevel’s Calendly integration (modified August 13, 2026) syncs new Calendly bookings into GoHighLevel and creates contacts. But it’s one way: cancellations and reschedules don’t update in GoHighLevel, imported events can’t be edited there, and it needs Calendly Standard, Teams or Enterprise. For a team that relies on accurate show and no-show data in the CRM, that usually tips the decision toward moving scheduling into GoHighLevel.

How do you switch from Calendly to GoHighLevel?

HighLevel has a Calendly migration guide. In practice:

  1. List every Calendly event type, with its duration, buffers, questions, team members and payment settings.
  2. Rebuild each as a GoHighLevel calendar of the right type, and connect each person’s Google or Outlook calendar and Zoom or Teams.
  3. Move reminders into workflows: confirmation, 24-hour and 1-hour reminders, plus a no-show follow-up.
  4. Replace every Calendly link on your website, email signatures, ads and templates.
  5. Run both in parallel until bookings already made in Calendly have taken place, then cancel Calendly.

The calendar setup guide covers calendar types, availability and reminders that cut no-shows.

FAQs

Can GoHighLevel replace Calendly?

For most businesses, yes. GoHighLevel's calendars handle one-on-one, round robin, collective, class and service bookings, sync with Google and Outlook calendars, generate Zoom or Teams links, take payment at booking and send SMS and email reminders. The main thing Calendly does better is native routing forms.

Does GoHighLevel have round robin scheduling?

Yes. Round Robin is a GoHighLevel calendar type that distributes bookings across a team, and each booking uses the assigned team member's availability, calendar sync and meeting link. Collective calendars find times when everyone in a group is free.

Does GoHighLevel have routing forms like Calendly?

Not natively. A request for Calendly-style routing forms on HighLevel's ideas board has been open since August 2023. The workaround is a GoHighLevel form with conditional logic that redirects each person to the right calendar based on their answers.

Can I connect Calendly to GoHighLevel?

Yes, but the sync is limited. HighLevel's Calendly integration, documented in an article modified August 13, 2026, syncs new bookings one way from Calendly into GoHighLevel and creates contacts. Cancellations and reschedules don't update in GoHighLevel, imported events can't be edited there, and it needs a paid Calendly Standard, Teams or Enterprise plan.

Can I take payments when someone books in GoHighLevel?

Yes. HighLevel's booking payments article says payment is supported on all calendar types through Stripe, NMI, Authorize.Net, Razorpay, Square and PayPal. You can charge upfront or save a card on file. Razorpay, NMI and Square don't work with the classic widget or the service menu.

How much does Calendly cost in 2026?

Calendly's pricing page lists a Free plan, Standard from $10 per seat per month, Teams from $16 per seat per month, and Enterprise from $15,000 a year. Yearly billing saves up to 20%. GoHighLevel's calendars are included in every GoHighLevel plan.

Does GoHighLevel sync with Google Calendar and Outlook?

Yes. GoHighLevel calendars sync two ways with Google Calendar and with Outlook, Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online. On-premises Exchange isn't supported for Outlook sync.

Should I cancel Calendly after moving to GoHighLevel?

Usually, once you've rebuilt every event type, moved reminders into workflows, replaced embedded Calendly links on your site and emails, and decided how to handle routing. Keep Calendly for a few weeks so existing bookings made there still happen, then cancel.
