Salesforce pricing calculator: what the per-user list price means
Salesforce Sales Cloud pricing per user is a list price in USD, per named user, per month. Multiply by seats and by 12 to get the yearly license bill. A 10-user team pays $3,000 a year on Starter Suite, $12,000 on Pro Suite, $23,400 on Core, $47,400 on Advanced and $66,000 on Max. The step from Pro Suite to Core is the big one: it roughly doubles the license bill. Our Core, Advanced and Max explainer covers what Salesforce bundled in and what happened to Enterprise and Unlimited.
Salesforce Starter Suite vs Pro Suite: when the jump pays off
Starter Suite is $25 and can be billed monthly, so it suits a team of 1 to 5 that wants a pipeline, email sync and lead routing without a yearly commitment. Pro Suite is $100, annual only, and adds quoting, forecasting and heavier automation and customization. If you do not need those, Starter Suite saves $75 per user per month. If your team needs forecasting and quoting, budget for Pro Suite from day one. For a side-by-side with other CRMs, see the CRM pricing comparison.
Is annual billing required for Salesforce?
Yes for Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max: Salesforce lists each as billed annually. Starter Suite is the exception, listed as billed monthly or annually at the same $25. Annual billing here means committing to a year of seats at the listed rate. Enterprise customers on legacy contracts keep their existing terms until renewal, per Salesforce.
How we calculate this Salesforce cost calculator
Monthly cost is the list price times seats. Yearly is monthly times 12. The 3-year figure is monthly times 36 and assumes the list price and seat count stay flat, which real contracts rarely do: renewals can raise prices, and teams add seats. There are no discounts, no taxes and no add-ons in the math. Round numbers are whole US dollars.
What this Salesforce cost calculator does not include
- Implementation, configuration and data migration, which are separate projects (see Salesforce implementation cost).
- Agentforce, Premier Support on Pro Suite, and other add-ons marked "available for purchase" on Salesforce's page.
- Flex Credit usage above the amount bundled with Core, Advanced and Max.
- Negotiated discounts, multi-year terms, taxes and currency conversion.
- Max pricing at checkout. Salesforce shows a "Contact us" button for Max, so $550 is a list price.

Salesforce pricing questions
How much does Salesforce cost per user per month?
Salesforce Sales Cloud lists Starter Suite at $25, Pro Suite at $100, Core at $195, Advanced at $395 and Max at $550 per user per month in USD, checked on October 15, 2026. Core, Advanced and Max replaced the Enterprise and Unlimited names on the public page. Taxes, add-ons and implementation are extra.
What does a Salesforce pricing calculator include?
This Salesforce pricing calculator multiplies the list price per user by your seat count and shows the monthly, yearly and 3-year license cost, plus all five editions side by side. It does not include implementation, data migration, integrations, AI add-ons, Premier Support or taxes, which Salesforce quotes separately.
Is annual billing required for Salesforce?
For most editions, yes. Salesforce lists Pro Suite, Core, Advanced and Max as billed annually. Only Starter Suite is listed as billed monthly or annually, at the same $25 per user. Salesforce annual billing required means you commit to a year of seats up front on those four editions.
Starter Suite vs Pro Suite: what is the difference in price and features?
Starter Suite is $25 per user per month and covers core sales objects, lead routing and email sync. Pro Suite is $100 and adds quoting, forecasting and more automation and customization, billed annually only. For 10 users that is $3,000 a year against $12,000 a year, a $9,000 gap in license cost.
Which Salesforce editions compared make sense for a small team?
Teams under about 10 users usually start on Starter Suite or Pro Suite. Core at $195 is the next listed step and bundles Slack Business+, Tableau Next and Premier Success, so price it only if you need those or deeper customization. Max is quoted through sales, so treat $550 as a starting point.
Is Core the same as the old Enterprise edition?
Salesforce positions Core as the successor to Enterprise: its page says Core includes everything in Professional Edition plus Momentum and Premier Success, and the Enterprise name no longer appears on the public Sales pricing page. Salesforce says existing customers keep their legacy pricing until their agreements change.
Does Salesforce list price include implementation?
No. Licenses are what Salesforce bills per seat. Setup, data migration, custom objects, integrations and training are separate projects, and on larger rollouts they can equal or exceed the first year of licenses. See our Salesforce implementation cost guide for cited ranges.
Why does my Salesforce quote differ from this calculator?
Quotes depend on negotiated discounts, contract length, add-ons such as Agentforce or Premier Support, currency and taxes. This calculator uses public list prices, so treat it as the starting line for a negotiation rather than the final number.
